:cool1: I leave for Disneyland in 3 days and I'm SOOO excited!!! :Pinkbounc Everyone around me thinks I'm crazy. The kids aren't even as in to it as I am. I can't tell you how it made me feel to pack up my 3yo DD's Sleeping Beauty dress to take her to the Princess Dinner! I got so sappy!
Anyway, I knew all of you would support me in my mania! :earboy2:

LOL, I was just dancing around the room with my daughter(she's 5) singing in excitement, we leave Friday too!!

Have a great time!

Make sure to see the new fireworks show. It's getting rave reviews.

Awesome-

I'll be heading that way Thurs night and be at the park fri night-Sun :)

PINS here I come!

Have fun! Where are you staying? It looks like you're going to miss out on some snow shoveling here in MN!

I am so excited today!!!!! We leave tomorrow (flight at 6:30am)

Everyone keeps saying, "you're going again?!" Then I have to explain that we are going to DL and not WDW (we were at WDW in October). They think we are crazy but I don't care. I'm too excited to care!!!!!! I can't wait to ride PotC!

Truly I think they are jealous that I will be in sunny CA and not in cold rainy/snowy MN!

Ride the excitement wave, others will follow! Have a great trip!!!!!!

There's nothing like the magic of Disney, especially at this time of year.

Have fun! :flower:

I'm so jealous for all of you that are going this week!!!!!!! I still have more that a month to wait!

Everyone have a great trip and save some pins and snowflakes for us!!

Man oh Man, I am right behind you. We catch our plane on Tuesday Morning! Less than a week now! WHOOOOOO HOOOOOOO!!!!! :cool1: :daisy:

Yep, We got our first snow yesterday with nasty nasty winds. Cold and blustery! I checked the weather forecast for the next 10 days in both Anaheim and in Palm Desert (where we're going afterwards) and looks like the LOWest high we should be facing is around 75! ***Doing the Happy Dance***
boo72...did you go over MEA weekend? That's a goal for a future year. I can never seem to get it together to go that weekend, but we had 5 days off in a row in our school district this year, would have been perfect timing!

We will be staying at the CA/NV border on Friday night, as we fly in VERY late to Las Vegas. Then we drive in to Anaheim and do DL on Sat. afternoon (happy dance again for the late hours!) and we'll be staying at the Anaheim Plaza hotel. We have a suite there because we have additional family meeting us there. Then we do DL on Sunday and then while the kiddos are sleeping we drive out to Palm Desert on Sunday night for our family reunion. We drive back to Las Vegas on the Sunday after Thanksgiving for a late night flight out! (For those of you who are Minnesotan's, gotta love Sun Country!)

I know how you are feeling. We are doing our first Disneyworld trip in January :cool1: and I am more excited than anyone in my family, Mom, Dad and sisters included (we are doing a grand gathering). My kids are excited but not anywhere near as excited as I am.

. . . and DH says I'm already hard to live with! It's one thing we DISers have in common: VERY excitable when it comes to Disney! :Pinkbounc

Take good notes and be sure to post a trip report when you get back, everyone!

I get more excited for our Disney trips than my DD does too! We don't go to DL until June and I am already drivingher and DH crazy with my walking around saying I can't wait till we go back to DL. Today I was sooo excited to add an extra day to our stay at the Grand California in June!! (we are DVC members and they just reduced the number of points to stay at the Grand CA so now our 5 night stay will "cost" us less points than our 4 night stay was originally going to cost us)
I noticed you are also going to the Palm Desert. Where are you staying? We are going to the Palm Desert in June for a week before we go to DL and we are staying at Marriott's Desert Springs Villas. I don't want to wish time away but I am really looking forward to our trip in June especially on a day like today, you must have sent your cold and snow from MN to WI because it was very blustery here today with our first snow of the year too.

Have a great trip and enjoy that warm sunshine :sunny:

We are staying at the Marriott Desert Springs Villa I (I guess my step mom wanted to get us in at a different place, but weren't able to. They are Marriott Timeshare owners.) My brother will be coming up from San Diego. They will stay with us in the Condo on Thurs-Sun, but they're staying at the JW Marriott on Tues. and Wed. and have told us we can come use the pool there. Supposedly it's better? I just don't know, I'm having a tough time really understanding what's available to the Villas and what's not. I know there's a shuttle to the JW, though.

What a small world, we are staying at the Marriott Desert Springs Villa 1 when we go in June! We just bought a Marriott time share at Horizons in Orlando this past June and did a trade to go to Palm Desert. From the pictures I have seen and what I have read it looks great. Desert Springs Villa 1 has some of the largest villa acommadations out there. If your brother is staying with you does that mean you have a 2 bedroom? If so you will have a full kitchen, a living room with a fireplace, a master suite that I am pretty sure has a jacuzzi tub and a second bedroom with 2 double beds and a second full bathroom along with a washer and dryer right in your villa, the following link will take you to the Marriott timeshare info for Desert Springs and there is a link to a floor plan for the 2 bedroom and there are also pictures http://www.vacationclub.com/resorts/de/resortAmenities.jsp There are multiple pools at Desert Springs Villas but from what I have seen and read the JW is supposed to be quite spectacular. I think read somewhere something about boats that go through the lobby at the JW. They should also have activities at the villas for the kids.

Have a great time and please either post or PM me when you get back and let me know what you thought.

Cheryl :sunny:
