BATTERY MAKERS!

Yes indeed. I can't tell you how many batteries I have gone through in the 6 months I have had a wireless mouse and keyboard. If I moved them away form the computer when it is not being used, will that save the battery life?

We have rechargable, but those are for the kids Wii remotes.

hmmmm.......I have a wireless mouse for my laptop. I've changed the batteries once in about a year.

Not sure why yours are draining so quickly.

same. my wireless mouse goes about 6 months (and we use it a bunch for work). Keyboard is little shorter, but still say 4 months at least on that.

Honestly, 2 pack will last a full year. Get them as a stocking stuffer, so that is why I sort of know how long they last.

Well, thank goodness for wireless keyboards. We switched to one after spilling on the old keyboard caused the old computer to short out. :(

What kind of batteries are you using?

We don't have a wireless keyboard or mouse... but do have the Wii and 3 digital cameras that we were blowing through batteries in.

We don't do rechargables in any of them, they don't seem to hold the charge any longer...

But what we do use is the silver "Energizer Lithium" ones... they do cost like double the amount of the regular Energizers, but last so well! We can take thousands of pictures with them before needing to replace them, with the regular ones we were lucky to get about a hunderd pictures. Might be worth your time to see if they work for you!
