When we were at DL in October my dd saw and fell in love with a hat. My deal with my kids has always been to wait until the end of the trip and choose one or two special souvenirs on the last day. As luck would have it, the hat that she tried on the morning of our 1st day sold out in the S/M size that fit her. We tried everywhere in both parks, having a couple of CM's call around to no avail. I've checked Ebay a bunch of times and called delivears a few times with the SKU number for the hat and it's now no longer being carried at the resort shops....

I'm posting this photo of said hat just in case anyone has any leads or idea where I might get it to surprise dd for Christmas....

Have you checked in the hotel gift stores? My DD had her Minnie Santa hat stolen from the bench in front of BTMRR on the last day of our trip. Though we weren't able to find the hat at any of the stores in DL (the ones we were able to check on our way out) and the CM at World of Disney (in a rather snide way, unfortunately ) told me they had been out of the Minnie hat for "quite awhile", we were able to find the hat in the gift store of the Disneyland Hotel.

P.S. Such a cute hat! I really hope you are able to find one for your DD.

If one store still has it, I would really check with the hotel gift stores. As I said on my previous post, that's where we found DDs hat that wasn't anywhere else to be found and someone else posted recently about finding the otherwise elusive 2009 merchandise and ornaments in the gift shop of the PPH. I know the DLH gift shop was a pretty good size!
