I Know This Has Come Up A Lot

I know this question has been asked many times before but I would love to hear from someone who actually experienced it. Thinking of booking a cruise that my son would turn 18 on day 3 of 6. Has anyone actually experienced their child no longer being able to go to the Vibe? I know everyone out here says they can't but has anyone actually experienced it. He is going to ask the counselors onboard this summer (he is 16) what happens as well.

Yes, it's true. Once he turns 18 he will be considered an "adult" liability-wise and will no longer be allowed at Vibe except during open house. DCL is very strict on this. He can still meet his friends around the ship for other activities, and he can participate in any "adult only" spaces or activities. I suggest you plan something special to celebrate his big day -- a Palo dinner or something else adult-only.

My godson turned 18 on the 2nd day of our 7 day cruise last fall. We never even signed him up for Vibe as the CMs at the club said he would only be allowed in on the first night.

This is a rule that is not bent. There was a situation that necessitated DCL changing their policies and making the upper age limit a hard and fast rule with no exceptions.

On the 11/2/14 Magic there was a boy who was in the Vibe with my 15 YO niece and he was not allowed to come back in the day he turned 18. He was not happy about it either
