I haven't started watching the SoCal weather for my trip yet, but just the fact that the weather here at home is a little "off" for late May has me worried, I'm sure irrationally.

Oh, and today my gut twisted nervously when it hit me: 2 1/2 weeks!!!!! I got panicky as I realized I still have to change my oil, rotate tires, pack, and who knows what else.

I know. I got my brakes done two weeks ago and tomorrow I am getting my oil changed. And we are replacing my radiator cap too.

Yeah we are rainy and cold right now here in Oregon. It's weird weather. I looked up So Cal on the Old farmers almanac which is almost supernaturally accurate:

May 24-27: Clouds, a few sprinkles, cool; May 28-31: Coastal clouds, sunny inland.

JUNE 2010: temperature 66° (2° below avg.); precipitation 0.1" (avg.); Jun 1-2: Scattered showers, cool; Jun 3-7: Morning fog, afternoon sun; cool; Jun 8-10: Sprinkles southwest, sunny elsewhere; cool; Jun 11-13: Sunny; Jun 14-19: Low clouds, morning drizzle, cool coast; sunny, turning cool inland; Jun 20-21: Sunny, cool; Jun 22-30: Morning clouds, afternoon sun, cool coast; sunny, turning hot inland.
