O.K..............we're going to be on the Nov. 29 Eastern. The last cruise we were on DD's "had to buy new outfits" on shore for the dinners. Soooooo, we will be in WDW Thursday and Friday, then on the Magic Saturday, Sunday and Monday before they get to "shop". How do I know what dinners they can pack for and what dinners they can "shop" for? I relly don't want to double pack. I'd rather bring what they meed for the first couple of days and let the "shop" for what they will wear the other nights.

Lampskies,
The dinner rotation/dress is as follows
Saturday Casual Dress Regular Restaurant Rotation Menu
Sunday Formal Dress Regular Restaurant Rotation Menu
Monday Casual Dress Regular Restaurant Rotation Menu
Tuesday Tropical Dress Tropicali... Menu
Wednesday Casual Round the World Menu
Thursday Semi Formal Captains Gala (Lobster!!) menu
Friday Casual Best of Menu

First chance they will get to buy clothes for dinner is Tropical night at St Martin.

Se ya in 31 days!

But from what I've read, it changes frequently. Am I correct? I'm such a planner that I'd love to know what I'm doing on what day, but for purposes of Palo ressies, how do you find out what's going on what night? Should you check when you check in/before heading to make a reservation?

Izzinmac.........thanks, looks like two days at WDW and three on the ship......my 13 and 11 yo DD's only need what.....???? 10 outfits and 8 pairs of shoes each????

That schedule has been pretty stable for a while. What makes it change regarding selection of best night for Palo is your assigned rotation. You won't know that until you get to the port. That will determine which dining room you are in each night, which determines the menu on rotation nights, which determines the one you will be in on formal night, etc. The general rule has been adults get LAPLAPL, families with older kids get PLAPLAP, and families with young kids get APLAPLA. But that certainly has lots of exceptions. What we try to do is look at each rotation and pick the dinner/location for each that we would miss the least. Actually, most of the time we bypass Palo because we enjoy the rotation dinner as much!
