I know I'm beating a dead horse, but.....

You can get a discount on Camping Sites if you have an Annual Pass. I got 20% off a premium site for my upcoming visit. I'm not sure it would be valid all year long, but it was this time!

We got a fantastic deal on a cabin with our Annual Pass last year also - there are a few deals - but not many!

Write an email send it to all the heads you never know what you will get! One year the gave our site away and we were put in another away from our travel partners the gave us a huge fruit basket and the next day we got back into the loop we wanted, the best part is when we arrived home another fruit basket was waitting for us!

They are good when things go wrong in FW - one year a tree fell through our cabin - yes - through it! For obvious reasons they did not want us to go back in until the tree was completely removed and the structure was checked, so they packed and moved all of our belongings into a cabin with a much better location - gave us FPs for several days of our stay - gave my kids welcome basket things - all because it took us about three hours of our day to get everything moved and settled again! The best part of it was - I made a strange request and of course it was granted - I asked for a cut piece of the tree - took a picture of my family with the Disney employees cutting down the tree - mounted the picture to the tree piece - put on a clear coat - and we will never forget that funny exerience which was almost 9 years ago.

But what I don't understand is why I can't get free dining at a campsite!

If you are very stealthy, you can get all the free eats and free beer you want. You just need to train some otters! I suggest the grill on site 617 as your first training assignment.

Now - if people really think deeply about this - there is no such thing as free dining. Oh, it may be bundled up and neatly packaged as such, but there is no such thing as a free ride at WDW. Ya just gotta trust me on this.

As has been said many times it is because you can have 10 people on a site and only 4, 2 adults/2children at the resorts with out an extra charge.
Fine, then just allow 4 on the plan per site - personally I don't have 10 people on my site.

But that violates the policy that everyone on the reservation must be on the same plan... Disney DOES NOT want to open THAT can of worms!

I would pay an additional fee for others. There are 2 of us and we generally take one of our adult children and their family which adds 4-6 additional. It's still worth IMO.

We got a 40% military discount last year for the Saturday thru Friday following Thanksgiving last year. Of course, we booked the reservation in Jan.

40% discount - That would be great! I know it's too late for our upcoming trip this year, but I'm keeping my hopes up for our next trip. Maybe the camping crowd will be surprised with a gift card, free dining, or something. You think there would be something for the group that even brings their own toilet paper! ;)
