There was once a web site where if you put in your phone number, it will give you an address. I am trying to explain to my DD and her friends why not to keep give out their #'s to everyone. They think I'm just saying that.

I got an e-mail about that and initially just dismissed it as another one of those silly e-mail hoaxes, but I tried it on www.google.com and it's true!! Our number is unlisted so it didn't show up, but I tried my parents' number and it gave their name and address and a map to their house!

I tried it by showing the girls how I can find this girl who keeps calling my house just to show them how easy it was. Well to my surprise it didn't come up, not b/c it was unlisted but after trying the white pages website, I found out it was her cell phone. To make sure I put in my cell # and a friends cell # and it didn't come up. But I did put in each of their home phone #'s and show then why not to give out their #'s especially to people they chat with on line.
