My DS and DD are only 18 months apart, my son is in 7th grade, my daughter in 6th. They are on the 6/7 split team meaning they have the exact same teachers this year and they see each other quite frequently during the school day in the halls. Anyway, a friend of DD has a crush on my son! My daughter is totally freaked out by this!! :jester: Her friend writes his name on her books and then kisses it :earseek: Now she is trying to write his name with her left hand (according to her, if you can write the person's name with your left hand it means you are destined to be together  ) Her friend is always asking DD for info about her brother. My daughter simply can not see her brother in this fashion and it is giving her the creeps!! :bounce:

I knew someday they would come across this...never thought it would be this soon!!!

Been there!

Having had 7 brothers - one 11 months younger than me, and a set of twin brothers 1 year older, my girlfriends were always in love with my brothers. One of my best girlfriends ended up marrying my older brother, in fact. As an adult, its nice to have a friend in the family, but as a teenager its downright creepy that someone is in love with your brother!

LOL

Has the girl started calling your home and hanging up yet? At least, that's what we used to do when we were in Jr. High (aka Middle School). :p

I remember feeling that way about my younger brothers, so I understand where your DD is coming from.:)
