I Knew There Was A Reason Why I've Always Hated My Birthday - COMPLETE

Oh my God. I was just going through this thread trying to figure out the last chapter I read and I saw that someone posted Stacey's facebook. I don't even have a facebook but inwardly I was like YESSSSSSSSSSSS because I knew it would provide hilarity. I was correct, because as soon as you go to her main page, there is a graphic that of course includes the same exact photo we see in her profile pic, with her name (which also is shown on the top of the page) and at the top of the graphic it says CLICK LIKE with an arrow pointing to the like button. Do people really not know that you need to click like, or...? Stacey never fails to amuse. I just love that woman is what I'm saying. I actually watched her reels on youtube not too long ago and they are actually really good (most people's reels are AWFUL) and she is a good host. She acts way less nuts when she's not at Disney World, but I mean, I think we all do.

OK, onto your updates!

July 3rd Pt 2 update:

OMG, disembark and motor coach are like my favorite words EVER. I try and say disembark ALL the time in my normal life because it's just one of those words that I feel is never really said and that's sad. It's just so Disneyish and I need to hear it more often.

CRACKING UP at the mental image of a family arriving via scuba. You are hilarious.

I'm happy they took a long time to search you, cause ugh. As someone who is NYC very very often I am constantly paranoid about evil people doing unspeakable things and Disney needs to be more thorough!! Obviously, you are not one of these evil people but I just hope everything they claim about having all of these super security measures that the public doesn't even know about b/c they are TOP SECRET are true.

The Happy Birthday Guy sounds awesome and hilarious! Love that!

I love the Pirates queue. At one point there's just a random table and chairs which I find so hilarious for some reason, like why is it there? Disney rarely just leaves stuff like that lying around, you'd think it would have some skulls and treasure around it or something, but nope it's just a fake wooden table and chairs. I really need to find the pics my mom and took sitting at it because we just thought it was so funny and acted really ridiculous.

It is most definitely both splashy and mountainy. < WELL SAID

July 3rd part 3 Update:

Oh my God, Kate Gosselin. I know we have discussed this before but omg. Did you see the pizza thing? I will just never get tired of watching her yell at people. It's wonderful and I will miss that show (mostly b/c of the yelling and Alexis, but the other kids are cool too). I really have missed Jon's "I want to die, I really am going to kill myself in five minutes" faces though, so I guess I can understand why the ratings have gone down. Le sigh.

Carousel of Progress is even more hilarious for me because EVERY TIME my dad would have to point out all the old stuff in it that he used to have in his house. He's on the older side, so he actually had an ICE BOX. And he'd just start telling me stories about it in the middle of the ride. And I would be like, um... I can't believe you are this excited by a fake ice box on a Disney ride. I guess anything that connects us to our childhood induces a lot of excitement, though, even if it's just a box of ice.

HAH omg, an Illuminati reference? Oh, you. I hate when I throw in a joke about the Illuminati into normal conversation and no one knows what I'm talking about. Like, sorry you don't know about anything and I am brilliant, but that was funny.

If Oprah did that president episode she would STILL have Johnnnnnnnnnnnnnn Traaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaavollllllllllllltaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa on. I just know it. I mean, he has to be president of something. Maybe not the US, but come on, it's John Travolta. President of groovy dancing in musicals? I'm avoiding the obvious Scientology jokes because 1.) I love John and 2.) i don't think you can joke about the Illuminati AND Scientology in one sitting or else you'll be tracked and killed.

I've never done the Hall of Presidents. One of the only attractions I can say that about. It seems great, but not compared to like... the mountains. So I've never found myself there. Maybe next trip.

LOVE this pic http://i828.photobucket.com/albums/zz204/LittleMissCynic/July 2011 - Trip Report/157.jpg

I will be your personal paparazzi photographer as long as you buy me unlimited Mickey shaped foods. That is all I ask!!!!!!!!

Crowds = noodles LOL. Yeah, it's never open when I'm there cause there are always like five people in the park when I'm there and they don't feel the need to provide us with noodles! ***! They also don't feel the need to provide us with Drew Carey-themed attractions, though, which I appreciate.

THANK GOD THERE ARE HARRY POTTER REFERENCES IN THIS TRIP REPORT NOW BC FRANKLY I WAS STARTING TO WORRY. Congrats, your TR is now officially quality. Not that it wasn't before, but everything involving Harry Potter is completely free of all flaws.

I LOVE this pic as well! You have an eye for interesting angles - i've never seen a pic of that spot from that angle before. Well done! http://i828.photobucket.com/albums/zz204/LittleMissCynic/July 2011 - Trip Report/172.jpg

July 3rd Part 4

That is too funny that your first character meal was at age 21. I LOVED it when I was little but I kind of hate it now. I love food and I just want to stuff my face and it's weird when Anastasia and Drizella come up to me and start carrying on. Like, I know it's your job to be annoying but I'm hungry.

You most likely did have a buzzer. The thing I don't like about them is that they aren't Mickey shaped. They need to be much more Disneyish.

I don't understand your plates. The food isn't piled up to the ceiling and none of it is falling off which I find weird. I clearly do not have self control when it comes to buffets as you may know from the Boma chapter in my TR. This pacing yourself thing you speak of seems curious and not a good idea to me. Food is worth ruining everything for so the whole getting sick thing really doesn't apply to me either. Hmm.

I miss Crystal Palace now! We used to do the character breakfast all the time when I was little but never the lunch/dinner. I made an ADR for it last time but we ended up going to Le Cellier b/c that is where they keep the Cheddar Cheese Soup and I think we all know how I feel about THAT.

Whew. Done! Can't wait for more. :hippie:
Lia! Oh, how I've missed your exceptionally long comments. Are you going to update your TR soon? Or start a PTR for your upcoming trip? I miss hearing about your Disney escapades!

Basically, I just wanna hang out with Stacey for the afternoon, bask in her awesomeness, and ask her a million questions about how to be so awesome.

You're right. I'd rather be thoroughly searched than have something horrific happen. What I really should do is stop carrying massive bags in the parks. Unfortunately for me, I'm one of those people who has to have a bajillion things with her at all times. You should see the bag I carry for school. I could probably survive for 3 weeks out of that thing.

Gosh, that whole entire Kate + 8 episode was brilliant. The sarcastic white water rafting guide slayed me. I'm gonna miss that show so much. I mean, I'm glad the kids will be able to live a more normal life without cameras following them everywhere, but it's just so entertaining. Thankfully, I've discovered the amazingness that is Dance Moms and it's filling in the 'lots of yelling and cute kids' hole in my heart very nicely.

See, this is why we're friends...I refer to the Illuminati on a regular basis. Also, everything is because of aliens. EVERYTHING. Pyramids? Aliens. Modern medicine? Aliens. My missing slipper? Aliens.

Did you see an article recently about Suri Cruise's Scientology school? As I was reading it, I just kept repeating "Oh" in varying levels of shock/disgust/confusion. They are a strange group, those Scientologists. But, yes, John Travolta would absolutely be on the Oprah Presidents special. It would feel wrong to do it without him.

Yeah, the Hall of Presidents isn't really that exciting. I mean, it's kinda cool if you're into American History and/or need an AC break, but other than that...Eh.

Frankly, I'm kinda surprised they don't open more Drew Carey-themed attractions when I'm there. For whatever reason, non-Clevelanders seem to think that everyone from Cleveland loves Drew Carey. Yes, he's from Cleveland, yes, I watch Whose Line Is It Anyway reruns frequently, and yes, I know all the words to "Cleveland Rocks" but that doesn't mean he's my favorite person ever or anything. Gosh.

I don't blame you for choosing Le Cellier over Crystal Palace. I'd do the same thing. Crystal Palace was fun, but it's not better than Cheddar Cheese Soup and Pretzel bread. Very few things are.
Thank you!!! :goodvibes Yes, I too, am a committed RHW fan! :thumbsup2
Excellent. I will have to throw more RH references into this baby then now that I know someone will get them. :upsidedow
Just found your TR and I'm joining in! It's been great so far. I can't believe that was your first character meal!
WELCOME! Thanks for joining in! :goodvibes

I can't believe it was my first character meal either. Not having attended a character meal has been my dirty little Disney secret for so long, though. I'm glad I've finally joined the 'I've dined with characters' club.

YOU'VE NEVER HAD A CHARACTER MEAL?! Yeah, your life just started on that day because of the CP, just saying lol But I can't believe you never did, they are so much fun and something really only offered in Disney, more the reason to do so, but.... it isn't for everyone, I guess.

I love the CP! It isn't my favorite, but some of the food there is fairly good and I love the self-serve ice cream thingamabobber. I haven't seen the whole buffet since... it's HUGE so it was nice seeing some of the other selections on your plates. And I love when they bring out the cupcake and have everyone sing Happy Birthday to the person who has the cupcake, we did that to my dad on a surprise when we were there, very fun :goodvibes LOL @ your apology to Countess LuAnn :lmao:

Great photos with the characters! You guys all look like a great bunch with them, though you seemed to be hogging the characters hehe jk Good to hear it was overall a nice time! Love the topiary pictures! (:

Can't wait to read more! :mickeyjum

Okay, I have decided to come out of "lurkdom" and say "hii!!"

You completely crack me up!! I read your other TR on Friday,(yes, the whole thing..don't judge me! haha) and you had me cracking UP! I can't wait to read this one! I am very very sorry to hear about your dog:(:sad1:
My dog died my freshman year of college, and we had her for 15 years, so I know how it feels. I graduated last year, and it still hurts sometimes, but it gets better!:thumbsup2

Oh, I totally hogged the characters. I am an unashamed character hogger. :rotfl:

JULY 3RD PART FIVE: Evil Emperors, Stomach Pains, and Stuff Exploding in the Sky
After our lovely dinner, we headed back out into the park to get our ride on. We had a bunch of FastPasses to use in Tomorrowland, so we went that way.
200.jpg

Our first stop was Buzz Lightyear’s Space Ranger Spin.
201.jpg

I mean, who doesn’t want to JOIN BUZZ LIGHTYEAR ON A DARING SPACE MISSION TO SAVE THE UNIVERSE FROM THE EVIL EMPORER ZURG?

Evidently my mom.

She decided to sit this one out, so the rest of us flashed (our FPs at) the CM and headed inside.

I just had to take a picture of one of these little guys in the queue:
203.jpg

*SPOILER ALERT* When they saved the day in Toy Story 3, I was half-sobbing/half-giggling. The sound I was making was inhuman. My friends all leaned away from me and put on their best ‘I have no clue who this crazy woman is’ faces. I’m sure it would have been quite embarrassing for someone capable of feeling shame.

Anyway, there were only a handful of people ahead of us in the FP line, so we pretty much just walked right on. Well, that is until we reached the loading area. The ride came to a sudden halt just as we were about to step out onto the moving walkway. The CM stationed there told us not to worry because they were only stopping the ride momentarily to help a guest exit. Thank goodness. I can’t even imagine what might have happened to the universe had we not been able to try and stop Zurg.

Once the ride restarted and the CM told us it was safe to board, we jumped into a car and were off. Dad and I rode together. He did well. I did not. I am absolutely awful at this ride and I hate it. I’m the kind of person who cannot stand to be lousy at something. I don’t need to be the very best at everything, but I am not good at being the very worst. In fact, I’m the worst at being the worst.

For whatever reason, I just cannot do well on Buzz Lightyear. I’m awesome at Toy Story Mania which makes it even worse. I mean, it’s the same thing! If I can do one, I should be able to do the other, right? Except I can’t. I can never tell where my laser is aiming, so basically I just hold the trigger down and wave the gun around hoping that I hit something. I rarely do. I’m pretty sure the only points I get come out of pity. I’m so terrible that a computer feels sorry for me. That’s bad.

Because I was still about 36 hours shy of being able to drown my sorrows (and they don’t serve booze in the MK) we headed to Space Mountain.

On our way, Dad snapped this shot of me in front of the Carousel of Awesomeness.
205.jpg

I look so pale! If there’s ever a reality show that is the exact opposite of Jersey Shore, I fully expect to be cast. I’m pale, flat-chested, and rarely ever expose myself on television.

When we got to Space Mountain, we pulled out our FPs and headed inside.
208.jpg

I love that it takes 833439203000 years to walk through the SM queue. I always feel like I’ve climbed Mt. Everest when we reach the loading area. I’m sure the people who have actually climbed Mt. Everest are judging me so hard right now, but I’m lazy/out-of-shape/have very little desire to engage in physical activity, so it’s quite the hike.

It also felt like we had to wait forever. C’mon, SM! This is the FP line. We’re supposed to be on the ride lickety-split.

When it came time to board our rocket, I did so rather awkwardly. I don’t think it’s possible to climb into those things without looking like a total idiot. If any of you have ever managed to board sans tripping over yourself and falling into the rocket, I’d appreciate a few pointers.

Because I’m a huge chicken, I always pull my lap bar down really far. Every single time, I regret this decision. Being repeatedly pummeled in the stomach area is not fun. My family laughed at the constant cycle of “AAAAAAHHHHH! WOOOOOOOO! UGH! …OH GOD WHY DO I ALWAYS DO THIS?” I was screaming throughout the ride. Clearly I am never not entertaining.

With Space Mountain behind us, we decided to find a spot for the special Fourth of July fireworks. It was only a little after 7 o’clock, so the show was still two hours away, but the lines for rides were long and, frankly, I quite enjoy just sitting around and soaking up the Disney atmosphere.

After much arguing (not so much from me; I was just along for the ride), we settled on a spot in Town Square.

This picture should give you the general idea:
054-1.jpg

Here are a few more atmosphere shots:
217.jpg

214.jpg

This was taken from my spot on the ground, so there are a bunch of people in it. 'A bunch of people’ was pretty much the theme of the day, so it’s fitting.

211.jpg

Here’s the Confectionery after its new paint job. Lookin’ spiffy, Confectionery!

060-1.jpg

I love Disney balloons, especially the traditional colored Mickey heads. I cannot wait until I have children because I’ll finally have an excuse to buy one. I mean, I’d buy one now, but I wouldn’t have anywhere to put it. I need a stroller to tie it on. Until then, I’ll just lust after balloons. Which is perfectly normal and not at all weird.

Ahem.

A bunch of stuff happened in the two hours we sat there (and a bunch more people crammed themselves into the park) but none of it was particularly interesting, so I’ll just skip ahead to the fireworks.

063-1.jpg

See? It’s already night.

065.jpg

Main Street was JAM PACKED. I’ve never seen it so crowded. I’m sure this is perfectly normal for the 3rd of July, but man, it was no fun. It felt like there were more people than there was air to breathe. I’m sure some science-y person can tell me why that’s not true (“Look up at the sky, Kara”), but it felt pretty true at the time.

Anyway, what was I supposed to be telling you about? Oh, fireworks. Right.

They were awesome. I’m a sucker for patriotism, giant castles, and stuff exploding in the sky, so these were right up my alley. Plus, they were all around us. It doesn’t get much cooler than that. Also, they played “Yankee Doodle” which I can’t hear without thinking of Full House. I live a Full House appreciation life.

Here are some pictures from the show. My daddy took them all.
067-1.jpg

068-1.jpg

069-1.jpg

083-1.jpg

090-1.jpg

092.jpg

Wait, here's one I took:
224.jpg

Because I am short and my camera is lame, it’s not nearly as good as Dad’s.

After the show ended, we headed out to the bus stop with tear-filled eyes. Well, my eyes were tear-filled. Anything remotely patriotic makes me weep. Because we were some of the first people out of the park, we were the first people to board the Coronado Springs bus that sat waiting for us.
234.jpg

After hearing some MK bus horror stories, we were thrilled. To make things even better, there was another CSR bus approaching, so our driver didn’t bother waiting until the bus was full. There were probably only 15 people on the bus. We had room to spread out and put our feet up. WDW really is the place where dreams come true.

We did have to sit in a bit of traffic by the MK parking lot, but I didn’t mind at all. For the first time all day, there weren’t a bunch of people in my personal space. Plus, I love riding the buses at night. It’s soothing. I don’t love the whole ‘Let’s turn on the lights and blind everyone on the bus’ thing so much, but the collective groan it always leads to does crack me up.

In case you’ve forgotten – and it’s been two months so I’m quite certain you have – we still didn’t really know where our rooms were. Yes, the CM at check-in gave us the general idea (Ranchos 6A) and Mom had gotten a text with the actual room numbers, but we hadn’t actually been there yet.

So, when we arrived back at CSR, we got off at the Ranchos section and set off to find our room. We went over to 6A, but thanks to the handy ‘Rooms ####-#### This Way’ sign, I quickly noticed that the room numbers we were given weren’t in 6A. Wonderful. Mom thought about calling the front desk to ask for directions, but we decided we would just wander around until we found our rooms. Luckily, our rooms wound up being in 6B which we figured out without much of a problem. It did take us a while to actually locate the rooms though. These buildings are complicated. There’s so much weaving around.

Anyway, here are a few pictures of one of the rooms. They aren’t great, but I was in a hurry because we still had to carry all of our luggage/random junk in from the car.
235.jpg

236.jpg

237.jpg

I loved the room. It was super relaxing. We were on the backside of the building and overlooked a wooded area, so there wasn’t too much noise. The beds were nice and comfortable. There was plenty of room for all of our junk. The bathroom wasn’t exactly spacious, but it was big enough. Overall, I was impressed.

I should also mention that Mom surprised us all with gift baskets!
238.jpg

That one is mine. I didn’t open it until later in the week, but I took a bunch of pictures when I did, so I’ll post them later on. It was full of yummies.

It took a couple trips to get all of our junk in from the car, but we did it. I felt like I was going to collapse from exhaustion, but I still took the time to unpack. I hate living out of a suitcase. Plus, unpacking makes it feel less like a vacation and more like returning home, y’know? With all my things squarely away, I put on my PJs and curled up into bed to watch Stacey. There’s no better way to end a day in the World than with a little dash of Stacey.

UP NEXT: Epcot on the 4th of July!

PS: I start classes tomorrow (we're on quarters so we go back quite late) which means that my life is about to become very hectic. I'll do my best to update regularly. Although, considering "regularly" now is once every week and a half, that really doesn't mean much. Just bear with me, friends. I promise I won't forget about you/this TR! :upsidedow

Don't feel bad about Buzz... I may be worse than you! I seriously have no clue how to correctly aim/obtain points/avoid feeling and/or looking like a complete moron! :confused3 We can be the best at being the worst together, that sounds better! :goodvibes

Yay for another Full House reference! Growing up, my two younger sisters and I would pretend to be DJ, Stephanie, and Michelle because we were their exact ages, hair colors, and mannerisms - ahh... to be young again :rotfl:

Kara, my only Buzz tip is when you enter the very first room, there is a giant robot on the left whose arms slowly move up and down. Once you pass him, turn your ride vehicle all the way around and there is a target on the inside of his hand worth like 100,00 each time you hit it. :thumbsup2

Can't WAIT to hear about Epcot on the 4th! That was so me last summer!

/
Hahaha, I love this update! You're so funny :thumbsup2

I love the Space Mountain queue as well, it just makes it more fantastic. Totally agreed on the getting in thing. It's at an awkward height of the ground, and is like, 2 feet wide. If you have long legs, it's even worse!

Psh, I'd buy a balloon. If anyone questions you, just say you're bringing it to your little sibling or kid. Odds are they won't even see you again...

STACEYYYYYY. Okay, that's all :) Great update!

Oh, and i'm AWFUL at Buzz too. I always manage to get almost no points. Failure. TSM is much more easier for me.

YOU FLASHED THE CM!?!? :rotfl2:

Totally understandable about TS3...I was basically just bawling the whole time. That was tough on the 3-D glasses.

You just described my Buzz Lightyear skill in a nutshell. I seriously am SO bad at it!

I will be on the anti-Jersey shore with you! I get PRETTYY darn white in the non-summertime.

It IS! I always feel like that after I walk-on Splash too.

I know! I always feel like such a frump getting in and out of those things! I bet all the CM's laugh at me. Ah well.

OMG! I LOVEEE THAT FIRST PICTURE OF MAIN STREET!!! Gorgeous. Would you mind if I made it my background?? :thumbsup2

Don't you hate that suffocating feeling? It gets to me every time.

FULL HOUSE. AMEN. :worship:

Aww yay! I miss CSR, I loved it there!

How nice of your mom to get you all gift baskets! :goodvibes

Can't wait till next time!

GREAT UPDATE!! where did your mom get your basket from? Do you have pics of other baskets? I am doing research. :O)

LOVE the old TTA spiel reference :lovestruc BUZZ LIGHTYEAR'S SPACE. RANGER. SPIN!
Kristen is going to comment on your pale comment. Betting 5 million dollars right now.

"I’m lazy/out-of-shape/have very little desire to engage in physical activity"
you just described me. and kristen. and most frumps out there in the world. well done.

I love that space mountain queue. It's one of my favorite places in all of disney!
:rotfl: at the laugh bar. I can picture it now.
Dang that was a fast two hours! lol
FULL HOUSE :love::love: lkjsd;lkaj;gdfkhjlkdghjfdkfslkjKAWJS;c LOVE IT. I seriously can not get enough.
Those pictures are beautiful! Tell your dad he did a nice job!
Wow you SERIOUSLY lucked out with that bus situation! Congratulations.
Your room is very cute! It looks exactly like our room from august (but we were in casitas)
And your gift bag is PRECIOUS! I can't wait to hear about what's inside.

Can't wait for your next update... even know I have no idea when that will be. But that's okay! When you finish a big chunk of homework... reward yourself with trip report writing. That's what I do! :upsidedow SO much better than writing an essay.

Ohhh how I love your TRs! I also appreciate your appreciation for Full House. I still DVR them every day and watch them when I get home from work. My dream when I was younger was to be Princess for the Day just like Michelle (ok, maybe it's still my dream a little)! :rolleyes1

Bahahaha I love a sneaky flash to a cast member lol

Buzz is seriously so much fun but I also get frustrated at my non-talent. I will never be one who can take a picture of the score and proudly display the victory... shame

I love your COP photo! It really does deserve a thumbs up every time you walk past...maybe a high five too...

I would also like to join the opposite of Jersey Shore show... Being awkwardly white is always a winner :thumbsup2 And the motto can be that we don't flash anyone in public, only CMs with our FP's... haha sorry...long day=bad jokes

Good work with your dad and the fireworks pics, first the swirly ice cream and now this...what other hidden talents does he have up his sleeve?

Ahhhhh Full House  I already said it on Kristen's TR but I seriously think we need to organize a FH Dis meet! Seeing as its pretty much an obsession of every second person around here! We could all be "Princess of the day" WIN!

I am glad to hear that I'm not the only one who can't get a super high score on Buzz! :lmao:

Love the CoP picture!!! I totally laughed out loud at your pale Jersey Shore reference...my daughter was all..."what's so funny?!" :confused3 Hehehe

Amazing fireworks pictures!!!

I have been wanting to re-watch the Full House where they go to WDW for weeks now! I found like 10 minutes of it on You Tube, but it didn't satisfy my longing! LOL! :lmao: I'm pretty tempted to see if they have it on Netflix...I may just be persuaded to re-sign up if I can watch Full House on there! :rotfl::surfweb:

Quick busses are always awesome...we arrive at CSR on Friday evening! :goodvibes

How sweet of your mom to get you gift baskets!!! :lovestruc

Girl, we could have conversations for HOURS about being pale. People at work actually like to tell me, when I'm wearing white, "are you even wearing a shirt?" :rotfl: Thanks guys.

I know exactly what you mean about wanting to be good at things and being irritated when you're not. I'm the same way. I want to be good at everything. Even things others would think is random, like Buzz Lightyear and Toy Story.

Don't feel bad about Buzz... I may be worse than you! I seriously have no clue how to correctly aim/obtain points/avoid feeling and/or looking like a complete moron! :confused3 We can be the best at being the worst together, that sounds better! :goodvibes

My dad's really good at Buzz so I spent most of the ride watching his point total go up and yelling "WHAT DO I DO? HELP ME, DADDY!" but even his advice didn't help.

OH MY GOSH! You're real-life Full House! That is awesome.

OK, that sounds do-able. I'll have to remember it for next time. :)

Epcot on the 4th was a lot of fun. I can't wait to share!
Hahaha, I love this update! You're so funny :thumbsup2

I'm so glad I'm not the only one who finds climbing into the SM rockets awkward. My family always manages to get in without issue and I'm always like "HOW DO YOU PEOPLE DO THIS?"

That's true. I wouldn't want to have to carry it around for hours, but if I got one as we were leaving, I'd just have to take it back to the hotel. Hmmm...

Seriously, I am so glad that everyone seems to suck just as much as I do at Buzz. It's making me feel a little less terrible.

OMG. I bet the Space Mt. CMs make fun of us awkward boarders all the time.

Of course, you can totally make it your background. :thumbsup2

I miss CSR too. It's been so rainy/cloudy/dreary here lately and I miss CSR's bright cheeriness.
GREAT UPDATE!! where did your mom get your basket from? Do you have pics of other baskets? I am doing research. :O)
I believe she ordered them through the Disney Florist. I don't have pictures of the others, but I'll ask my sister if she took any. They were all similar in style - basket full of treats with a little stuffed Mickey and a balloon.

I miss the old TTA spiel. :sad1:

HAHAHAHA She totally did.

I can't wait to hear what you thought of the Casitas. We requested either the Casitas or Ranchos, got Ranchos, and were quite happy. The only negative was the long walk to El Centro, but we really didn't go there that often anyway.

Thankfully, I don't have too much homework to do this weekend, so I'm going to try and write as much as I can. I'm very excited about the next few updates. Some MAJOR stuff happened... ;)
Ohhh how I love your TRs! I also appreciate your appreciation for Full House. I still DVR them every day and watch them when I get home from work. My dream when I was younger was to be Princess for the Day just like Michelle (ok, maybe it's still my dream a little)! :rolleyes1
Aw, Disney really should implement a special Princess for the Day program just for us Full House fans. It would be a big hit. :cutie:

Exactly. 'We only flash FPs.' :rotfl:

Oh gosh, a Full House Dismeet would be so much fun. We could reenact all the scenes and sing the theme song wherever we go. It would be epic.

:lovestruc
I hope you have an amazing time! You'll love CSR. It's gorgeous. And the buses are very efficient (at least they were for us). ;)

It's weird because my skin has a bit of an olive color to it, but I'm still ridiculously pale. Half the time, I'm pretty much see-through which grosses me out because I don't need to be reminded that there's stuff happening inside my body all the time. Biology/medical stuff gives me the creeps.

Just read your latest update! *Sigh* I wish I was sitting on Main Street right about now! Even if it was jam packed full of people to watch the fireworks. What a great spot you guys had! Good job!

And...yes I just added a new ticker!!!!

lmao. of course as soon as I read "we headed back out into the park to get our ride on" i heard Stacey in my mind. "I'm about to get my riiiiiiiiiiiiide on! At Disney's Animal Kingdom!" OH HOW I MISS YOU, GODDESS!!!

Ok, Space Ranger Spin and Toy Story Mania are so NOT the same thing and you should not feel bad for not doing well on SPS! I suck at it too! Actually, the reason why I initially wasn't that excited about TSM was because someone told me it was the same idea as SPS and I was like oh great. The technology on TSM is what makes it amazing, while I feel like SPS was made in like 1975 or something? The laser always has a delay and I hardly even know where I'm shooting. I mean, SPS is fun but it is not the life changing heaven-like experience that is TSM. In my opinion anyway!

I'm always super pale too. I like to rock it tbh. I love Kathy Griffin's joke about being pale where she says "I'm so pale I'm actually translucent, you can see my organs like I'm an anatomy doll." I DO expose myself on television as much as possible, though, so that is where you and I differ my friend.

I'm kind of baffled by how far you have to walk to get in and out of Space Mountain. Like, the building doesn't look THAT big to me from the outside but seems like another...well, planet... on the inside. DISNEY, WHY ARE YOU ALWAYS SO FLAWLESSLY EFFECTIVE? Le sigh. But I love it too. They win at creating a different mood every single time. When I am rich I should have a house like that, where people have to go through like a mile of walking after entering to get to the foyer.

Oh God, every single time I go on a rollercoaster I'm like the mom pushing down everyone's lap bars AS MUCH AS POSSIBLE and pulling on them really hard after they lock to make sure they're REALLY REALLY LOCKED. When I go to Six Flags with my friends, usually they bring friends I don't really know cause we like to go in a big group, and the new people are like, what is with your weird friend that keeps grabbing my lap bar? Can she stop telling me to hold on? I'm like, whatever guys. IT'S SCARY, OKAY?

Do you know the Full House blog holatannerinos.tumblr.com? If not, get familiar. Too funny!!

Your room at Coronado looks so nice! I love all the green. And omg!! What was in the gift basket?? WANT.

HOORAY FOR YOUR NEW TICKER!!! :yay: I hope you guys have a magical Disneymoon! :wizard:

:rotfl: That's probably my most frequently quoted Stacey line. I basically just walk around the parks yelling "I'M ABOUT TO GET MY RIDE ON!" at random strangers. I'm sure they appreciate it. Who wouldn't???

YES! Buzz feels so outdated. Like, I'm pretty sure my local laser tag place had better technology 10 years ago.

Thank god I'm not the only crazy person who pulls the lap bars down REALLY tight. When I was younger, I used to have dreams that I was on a roller coaster and the lap bar came unlocked and I had to hold on for dear life, so I'm a complete freak about it.

Oh god, that is my new favorite blog. I'm probably going to say "Hola Tannerinos!" to everyone I see over the next few days. Full House is the best.

What was in the basket? You'll have to wait and see... ;)
