I keep hearing about moleskin on this forum. How it helps beat the blisters on your feet. I have been on several trips to the store and kind not find these. I am looking in the bandaid sections of various places.

I even searched on the internet. The only thing I came up with was Moleskin by Johnson and Johnson that was being disconintued product.

Can someone tell me about this product and where to find it?

I use this and it works great. Just put it on hot spots and no blisters! I got mine at Target and Walmart. It is with the footcare products, not the bandaids.

they have it in drug stores..by foot stuff like Dr Scholls. if not try an outdoor/camping/hiking store like Gander mountain, or maybe Dick's

I think moleskin is even made by Dr. Scholls. You can find it at Target/Walmart in the foot care section. It is in a plastic sealed package around three inches tall by two inches wide and maybe 1/4 inch wide.

I have bought it at the drugstore, like CVS or Eckerd's, several times. It is with the Dr. Scholl's stuff like shoe inserts.

You need a small pair of scissors to cut it. It certainly has saved my feet many a time!

I always carry this stuff in my luggage on my trips but have never needed it until last year. I took my niece on her first trip to WDW. Her shoes were not as worn in as she thought they were. That moleskin allowed her to continue our wonderful trip. Don't leave home without it.

I have purchased moleskin in the supermarkets by me in the footcare section and I believe it was made by Dr. Scholls. Also, I currently have Eckerd brand moleskin in my medicine cabinet, so I assume they probably still sell it.

I always precut some small pieces and keep them in my fanny pack. I used to bring small scissors to cut pieces as I needed them, but I'm afraid that scissors would be confiscated by security since 9/11. HTH!

Also, it come in sheets. You can either cut it before you leave, or make SURE to pack some scissors in your checked luggage. This stuff doesn't tear!!!

And make sure they are big and sharp! I tried using the ones that came with my sewing kit. Not a good idea.

My kids are addicted to the stuff. They wanted new every time they got wet. It saved my vacation

I had trouble finding it too! Finally found it in Walgreens in the foot section. Our store had Dr. Scholl's brand and a generic brand also.

I saw some at REI (a big outdoor store for camping, hiking, etc.) in the shoe section. It was on a stand that had other blister remedies.

I tell you what...moleskin was a staple when my family would go on trips to WDW. My dad is one of those kinds that has to get as much in each and every day as possible...so there's a lot of walking involved...moleskin was a definite necessity for us!!

We carried moleskin every day for four trips to WDW and never used it until this past trip. Boy, is that stuff ever a lifesaver! For some reason, DH and I both developed "hot spots" on our feet this trip, and I just knew we were going to end up with blisters. But after we cut pieces of moleskin to cover the areas (I carried manicure scissors, and while it was a little tough to cut, they worked fine) we didn't have any more problems!

My bf and I used moleskins for the first time on our last trip. As soon as we felt a hotspot we stuck one on. I cut them in various sizes before I left and put them in a ziploc baggie that I carried around w/me. We didn't get one blister the entire trip. On our previous trip we just used bandaids and got several blisters- bandaids fall off really quickly. -Stephanie

don't make the same mistake I did last trip and try the JOhnson and johnson gel filled blister thingys...they fell off, stuck to the inside of my sock and left sticky stuff on it that kept sticking to my feet all day. they are supposed to be water proof and shower proof.Haaaa! so they lasted 10 mins. ... and cost a mint.
