Woot! Woot!

I am so excited! I just won the summer reading contest at my branch library. I won a Nook Color for reading the most books this summer.

The great part is that the kids have been buying me B&N gift cards for gifts because they know I've been wanting one and were trying to help me save up for it. Now I have $80 in gift cards to use to buy books and stuff!

I'm sure they told you at your library, but you can get free ebooks on a Nook through the library. Our service is Overdrive.

I have an older plain Nook, and I love it. I'd imagine a Nook Color would be even more awesome!!

It was on the honor system, but I had checked most of the books I read out from the library. I read a lot!

B&N is having a workshop to teach everyone how to use their new Nooks.

There are 31 branches and they gave away three at each branch in three age categories. An anonymous donor donated the Nook Colors to the library.
