PreTrip Trip Report

This trip was originally planned for December 2002 but was postponed until 2003 due to illness of my dear SIL. My SIL contracted lung cancer in 2001. She battled the disease in 2001 & 2002 and became very ill in October 2002. She was a non-smoker and had never been exposed to anything that may cause lung caner. She was a great wife for my brother and a very good friend. She was an RN who had a compassionate heart. She passed away in December of 2002. She is in a better place and we miss her. I If I could have traded spaces with her I would have.

The trip was rescheduled for December 2003. My parents celebrated their 50th Anniversary in October and this trip is a continuation of that celebration. Some hightlights planned are Victoria & Albert's, Keys to the Kingdom Tour, Spa Treatment at the GF, VMCP and Candlelight Processional.

I wish you all the Pixie Dust possible on your long awaited trip. My sympathies on the loss of your DSIL. My mother was diagnosed with lung cancer 2 years ago this month. So far she is doing well, minus 1 lung. I count my blessings every day and call her everyday just to say "hi".
Enjoy your trip and let us know how the Keys to the Kingdom tour is. My son (15) is very interested in doing that when we go next May.
