Our first DCL cruise was Spring Break and it was planned FOR 6 years!!! (No exaggeration)

I can not imagine how wacked out looney I would have been if this happened to us. It was the absolute only week we were off that we could afford to go. DH and I were teachers and EVERY other week we were off during the year was a lot more.

SO to all of you having your cruise taken away I feel your heartache! Disney Cruises are so incredible and special. .

I completely understand. Our cruise lined up perfectly with Spring Break, and it wasn't much more than cruises in Feb. My girls have been looking forward to it for a while, and just bought new bathing suits a few weeks ago, as it'll be in the low 80's in the Bahamas in couple of weeks from now.

Chin up! Whenever a door is slammed shut, another opens, and soon you'll have your opportunity to go!

Yes, chin up if possible. Imagine what a ripple effect all the canceled or delayed cruises have on cruise line scheduling, vendors/excursions at ports, travel agencies, etc...and families not just of the cruisers, but of the above in trying to pay their bills. We have a cruise with the mouse at the end of June with a few day in advance at Disney World. If it gets canceled or moved, three grandkids will not be amused, especially our 16-year-old granddaughter. She is a planner... down to the last door decoration, who is where during each day, what clothes we all should take, etc. However, this virus is serious, especially with two old grandparents, us, coming along. Life is often unfair. Cross your fingers, after washing them, and hope for the best.

Kind of in the same situation for April...my husband and I were supposed to go to Hawaii for 2 week honeymoon, but given with everything changing...and that Canada is blocking ships from their ports...there must be a greater plan in place. I already had gotten stuff off Etsy for door magnets / new swimsuit / dresses, and sigh... Always have Faith, Trust, and Pixie Dust! It will work out in the end somehow someway.
