"I Just Want to Get Lost in the Magic"

So we are five weeks out from our 7-day trip to Disney World! A couple weeks ago, we received the customized maps of each of the parks. If you haven't done these, go now!!! They are awesome. I was showing DS8 and DS3 (turning 4 on trip) the maps and where each of the attractions were that we had chosen. Each family member chose 3 favorites at each park. And then I read the letter to them that came with the map. It said something to the effect of ... "our maps are very detailed and complete, but watch out ... you still may get lost [enter DS3 ] in the magic [enter DS3 ]. He had me rolling with his expressions!

Fast forward to yesterday when we were talking about what we are most looking forward to. DH said he just can't wait to check out the resort where we're staying -- Animal Kingdom Lodge. DS8 is ready for the big rides - Expedition Everest tops his list. And DS3, my little heartbreaker, took my face in his hands, looked deeply in my eyes, and said, "Mommy, I just want to get lost in the magic..." Gotta love this kid! Mommy agrees. I am ready to get lost in the magic of Disney and my family!

You will LOVE AKL. We jsut stayed there in January and it is awesome! Those maps will come in handly so you can get a feel for where stufff is located. Have fun!!

That is so sweet.
I made maps for the first time a few weeks ago and jsut got them too. We don;t have a trip planned ,but I wish I would've made them for previous trips. I didn't realize how cool they are.

have a great trip!

i got an email about them about 2 days AFTER we got home, so i made it for my son who was 9 months on the trip. i numbered them the way we rode the rides. great item for his baby book.

and i didn't realize how nice they were going to be! they are really nice keepsakes.
