I just want a pin for fd!

I called today to see if I had any pins associated with my name and the cm was soooo rude. She huffed and puffed when I asked her to search my name. Then when I asked her to search my husband's name she replied "we only really give out pin codes in email so if you didn't receive any in your email I wouldn't keep calling. It is wasting time for someone who really wants to book their reservation and has to be on hold while I am with you." CAN YOU BELIEVE THIS?! :headache: I REALLY want to book MY vacation but I won't do it without a good discount! .:.:.VENT.:.:. I will still keep calling... :sad2: I deserve a pin just for dealing with her.
 
Hopefully you took the customer satisfaction survey at the end of the call...
 
good luck! I was just at WDW and got a FD pin when I tried to book my bounceback. It seems like a lot of people are getting them right now, so keep trying!
 

FD PIN = Free Dining Pin. A Pin is a special # they email/ snail mail out to you that gives the user a specific discount

I know this is a dumb question.But What is a FD PIN?

It's a code that you can apply to a resort package reservation for free dining. Some people get a PIN via email after registering at the Disney site and saving vacation itineraries or ordering the free DVD, other people may get a code via snail mail. And then some people don't get a PIN at all no matter what. Just weird random Disney stuff. So, a FD PIN is for free dining, but there are also PINs for room discounts as well. :lmao: Sometimes they're a 15 digit code, other times they're 3 letters or something codes. I get lots of them, I've been extremely lucky.
 
I am trying to go in June. I got the pin last year for the same time and was hoping for it this year. Fingers still crossed. :confused3
 
It also appears to be untrue that you would necessarily get the pin in the email or mail. My DSS recently called to try and see if he had a free dining pin. He did not, unfortunately, but he did have a pin for 20% off through the summer, which is different from the public offer right now. He never got a post card or an email with that information, yet there it was attached to his name.

I got the FD Pin last year by calling. I never received an email or post card. Nothing. :confused3 I wished all the cms were on the same page.
 
I just want to encourage you to keep calling and trying! I called two weeks ago to ask, and we did NOT have a FD PIN, but the CM somehow gave us free QS dining anyway. So maybe you'll get some pixie dust sprinkled on you too!!
