For some reason I had thought that Tusker House so that they could replace it with Yak and Yeti. Reading someone's trip report alerted me to my mistake. WOW, what a menu for dinner or lunch!!! I have conflicting feelings about dining at 50's Prime Time. I am thinking about changing my ressies to Tusker House, or at least try.

I would love to hear what others have to say about Tusker House. We did try Boma 2 years ago. We tried it, we left full, but said we didn't have to try it again. Is the food similar to Boma?

Thanks so much!!!

I haven't been to Boma's yet. Will September never come?

But we ate at Tusker House for dinner on May 22nd and it was the best meal we had a WDW.

Now, keep in mind, that most of our TS's with the exception of TH were character meals. We had a lovely meal at the Captain's Grill at YBC and a fun dinner at WCC, but otherwise it was CRT, DBS, GG and CM's.

TH had a great buffet if you like non-standard fare. There aren't any fries or deep fried anything, for that matter. But there is salmon (baked and smoked with capers), cous cous, quinoa, prime rib, pork loin, lovely salads, curried chicken....really delicious stuff.

We had a reservation around 5 pm and the park closed at 7. We ate and then booked over to Nemo for the 6:15 pm show and walked right in.

I recommend it.

Tusker House was our third buffet last week at WDW. In my opinion it was also the best! The food was delicious and the variety was amazing.

We also ate at Hollywood and Vine and Crystal Palace which were good but nothing like Tusker House. I highly recommend it!

I have only eaten breakfast at TH but it was the BEST breakfast we had all week!

We want to try dinner there on a day trip soon! DH asked to eat breakfast there for his b-day it was that good!

Honestly besides our signature meals it was the best meal.

Ok, so I think you got the idea, we liked TH :thumbsup2

Tusker House lunch was very good but 50's Prime Time is probably our favorite restaurant at WDW! you really can't compare the two - do you feel like a buffet or do you feel like a home-cookin' type meal with [hopefully] a lot of fun antics from your server?! Good luck with your decision!
