I just reconnected with an old high school friend

I was able to get my best friends email recently. Someone emailed me from Classmates.com ( I was too cheap to pay the yearly dues) and I was able to get in touch with my best friend. And she told me about a lot of other people that she had stayed in contact with. Its been 20 years since HS and I'm so happy to have rekindled an old friendship.

Nancy679 ~ same happened to me. Actually, I had been searching for my best friend for years , but I didn't know if she married or what her married name was. I was just short of calling one of those services to help you find people & I was on the classmates.com site (when it was free to 'chat') & I bumped into a mutual friend. We started e-mailing each other & SHE WAS STILL IN TOUCH WITH MY BEST FRIEND! I can't tell you how excited I was. She still lives in NY & I've moved to MI (via California) & we communicate by e-mail or telephone. It's like no time has passed between us either!

I'm soooo happy for you because I know how happy reuniting with my best friend from J.H.S. is like! Life can be full of many wonderful surprises!

I reconnected with my best friend from high school this way too. When we returned from WDW last August I got an e-mail from her from gradfinders.com. We've been e-mailing each other back and forth almost every day. We've talked on the phone this past week too and next weekend she's coming home to visit her folks and we're having dinner/lunch together on Sunday. I can't wait to see her again. My 8 year old DS has never even met her and he already loves her and calls her Auntie! She has a 10 year old daughter that we haven't met and a new hubby we haven't met either. When we e-mail and talk, it's like we were never even apart. We've picked right up where we left off. It is wonderful. I thank G O D for the internet everyday that it has reconnected us.
