Do you think I should go to the site? :)
Think maybe it's a rip off?

Dear eBay User,

During our regular udpate and verification of the accounts, we couldn't verify your current information. Either your information has changed or it is incomplete.

As a result, your access to bid or buy on Ebay has been restricted. To start using your eBay account fully, please update and verify your information by clicking below :

Personally I would be leary. Have you tried logging on to eBay the regular way, if so, what happened? I am not 100 percent sure, but I think I remember someone else posting somethign similar to this a while ago and that it was bogus, but I am not sure. I think if I was unsure I would contact eBay myself and see what they say before I did any updating.

I'm pretty sure it's a rip-off
especially since they said "Dear e-bay user"
if they were looking for me they could figure out my name!

It's a scam to get eBay user accounts, credit card numbers, etc. I fill them out with a username like "IKnowThisIsAScam" and a credit card number of like 1234567890. It takes it! :)

I received that too and ignored it. Check out how they spelled response!

If it is EBAY, you can go directly to their website and fix your profile/credit info to be safe.

Did you actually click on the link? I did and it took me to ebay. Maybe you should go to eBay directly and try and log in. Of course, eBay does not require a cc number or any bank info so asking for that info is always a scam.

I believe the scam will take you to a page that looks just like ebay.

An Ebay look-a-like. Just like the Microsoft look-a-like sent in emails this week.
