My divorce is final in about 36 hours.....but who's counting??!! I am so excited to get to live again! I don't know the details of your divorce, but you can be happy. Make a new start and a new you. In the last 3 months, I have lost 15 pounds, got a tan, highlighted my hair for the first time in my life, and gotten more compliments than I have since I was 16!! Live....Live....LIVE....make the most of it...and develop and attitude!!!

Isn't it weird reading it? It's kind of like reading the last chapter in a book or something. Then you put it back in the envelop, put it away, and life goes on exactly the same, nothing really changes, only hopefully you'll feel freer and newer and stronger!

Join a gym! That's what I did! LOL! And what a difference that made in ME! Not just my body or my body strength, but in my inner strength too! Like everything was new and strong and I could and did kick butt at the gym and in real life (not literally of course )!

I hope you get all those feelings too, Laurie!

It was weird. I know how I felt when we bought the house, it was like a weight was on my shoulders. Well, now, I feel lighter. The weight of responsibility is there, cause it's all up to me now, but I really feel lighter.

That's great, Laurie! And through that "lighterness" (I love making up words ) will come strength and newness! And with newness comes new dreams and hopes and ya just never know what's down the road for you! But ... I bet it's something spectacular!

I've never liked change much, so the newness is more scary than anything.
And with this depression, I've never had to rely on people or medicines before. It's humbling to be needy, it's even more humbling to have people actually be there for me. I've learned a lot this last year or three.

Well, I imagine sometime in september. It takes 60 days after it's signed. I don't know if eric has signed it or not.

Maybe we could get together and have a party. It'll be fun!

I've never like change much either, heck, I don't even like to try a new brand of juice when my regular brand isn't on the self in the supermarket. But there's something about the "lighterness" that is so freeing! Maybe this song will help a little. I heard it, then turned it up, then turned it up louder, then sang it, then I danced to it, then I just fell down making snow angels in the snow to it! Bwahahaha! Maybe it will help you to embrace the wonderful changes ahead for you!
