I just paid it off !!

Remember I posted a few weeks ago that I put the remainder of our DVC loan on my new Disney Visa? Well, I just wrote out the check to pay off the Visa!

Congratulations! Isn't it a great feeling to write that last check? The day I got the deed was almost a let-down compared to writing that check. From now on it's only dues, which is such a relief!

We just joined DVC buying 160 points at BCV. We put the whole thing on my Disney Visa and will pay it off pronto thanks to Uncle Sam and some mega overtime DH did. Congrats to you! We can't wait to write that check.

WHY?

You get 0% interest for the first six months on the new Disney/Vis card. Why not pay it of after you get six months of free interest?

cos I had the money in the bank designated for paying off the DVC - before budget cuts I wanted to make sure the money was used for DVC before finding other uses for it

Oh, I don't think that "mortgage burning" is a problem in non smoking, I doubt anyone can claim an allergy to that.

Look on the bright side, now IMGTD can save for that long awaited cruise.
