So. This summer has had its highs and its lows (really low ones). One of the lows was a car crash that happened a month ago. A friend of mine died in it and another was sent to the hospital in critical condition (hes still there). Both of them were intoxicated. The driver, however, was not. He was 100% sober according to the breathalyzer. He was also 21 and driving without a license.
Heres what ticks me off: hes not being charged with ANYTHING as a result. No negligent homicide, no assault (on the kid in the hospital), not even a fine for driving without a license.
Im livid about this. And the other two werent even really close friends of mine. I knew Dan pretty well because I knew his brother, but Suda was more of a say hi in the halls because we ride the same bus kind of friend. But to not charge the driver with ANYTHING? Thats ticks me off royally.
I just needed to get this out there.
