I recently had a portable unit go bad and called to cancel the service. To keep me as a customer they sent a refurbished unit to replace the broken unit. I just tried to activate the unit and it is still active under the original owners information, XM cannot activate it for me.
This time they wanted to charge me $79.99+shipping for another unit. I don't think so. Now they really have lost a customer.
Ugh!!!!!

I was fit to be tied- called them up to tell them their customer service rep. was deceptive, they "took it off the bill" yeah right, next month, same thing, only now it's a paper bill too.. It took me 6 months of calls to straighten out, then they have the NERVE to charge me for a CANCELLATION FEE after they finally take the activation fee off- I was so pissed I almost cancelled all the radios (but DH wanted it). FINALLY got it all straight- THEIR CUSTOMER SERVICE IS THE WORST.
