I just lost my whole report!

What did I do wrong? I typed a whole day's report and when I went to submit it, it asked me to log in again. Then the report was gone... Is there a time limit? Should I do it in a Word document then just cut and paste it here? I guess I'll do that.

catnip0113- That really stinks, especially after writing a whole trip report. I've had this happen many times. There does seem to be a time limit. I always go to edit copy now before hitting submit. That way if it does erase it, you can reenter your password and just hit edit paste without having to write everything over. Good luck!

Thanks Disneysailor. I am re doing it in Word and will paste it in next time. I keep getting sidetracked reading other posts.

I had that happen to. I guess you do get logged out. I hit the back button on my browser and was able to go back to my report. I highlighted, copied, logged in again and pasted it.

This has happened to me on occasion as well. Here's what I do.

Use the Back key. You will go back to your post. Highlight your post and copy it.

Next, if you are starting a new thread, go to start a new thread.

Then, paste it.

If you are replying, after you copy it, go to the original post again, click on reply, then paste it.

I'm very technology challenged. This is one thing I know how to do. I hope it works for you.

Thanks Lorie, I have been doing them in Word and then cutting and pasting into a thread. This way I have a copy for myself too. I can look back when the next cruise is getting closer to remember.
