This is what DS just said to me. I asked him to let the dogs out. So he handed me his cookie and said "don't eat it cause I just licked it all over".

5 year old daughter does this all the time. Once, it was well worth the grossness for the shock on her face when I just grabbed her cookie/candy/whatever and ate it and said, "I don't care!"

Remember the VW commercial with the guy standing next to a car with a couple and a salesman shown walking in slow motion towards it? The guy looks around in fright and bends down and licks the door handle. Classic!

That was CLASSIC. I think that is one of my all time favorite commercials-especially since DH and I both grew up on houses where the only way to make sure you had that last cookie was to lick it before anyone else did. Now if our PARENTS caught us doing that....

DD7 was at a friend's house recently and called home to see if she could eat over. I told her no, and she said "But I have to-I already licked the fork!"
