Im trying to get my direct DVC card in my wallet--but so far cant get the "Y"

Ive tried editing my phone number removing the cards from wallet and starting over

but somehow now I have an actual wallet account which I totally do not want any ideas how to get rid of this I cant find a cancel button

next issue is the new cards are exactly like the old ones--no "Y"

why do they make us jump thought so many unessary hoops this is totally insane
whats the big deal about just showing the blue card for discounts

all this nonsense is one of the reasons why we cancelled our Jan trip this year--my head was spinning with all the mobile this and needed your phone for everything--
Im tempted just to say I dont have a smart phone and let disney worry about it

I had this issue when I setup my account over the weekend. Did the whole remove phone number trick and nothing. My wife's card showed up no problem but it wouldn't even give me the DVC option.

After removing the card from Google Pay about 5 times, I had to turn on NFC functionality and once I tried it again everything worked without issue.

The DVC "Y" does not show on the card itself in the wallet. Click on your card itself in the wallet. And then, there will be three dots (...) in a circle in the top right corner of the screen. Once you do that, you will see more info including affiliation related to that account. The DVC Y should appear on that screen.

You must have Apple Wallet in order to have access to the digital card and to be eligible for discounts.

I have clicked on the 3 dots and there’s no Y or N. And yes I do have apple wallet I have it by accident don’t want it won’t use it. This is waaaay to much work and frustrating. Why can’t we just show the little blue card. I hate using my phone for stuff like this.

You can't have the wallet by accident. You sure don't have to use it, but if you have a relatively recent iPhone, it is on the phone wether you do or don't.

YES ....
smart phones are not expensive any more. Don't buy a iPhone or a top level Samsung.
My family has a great TracFone
smart phone . Spent $100 for phone and 1 year service .

You have the option to print your temporary membership card from the DVC site. It has an expiration date of 30 days out.

That seems to be the new requirement. One must have the digital card with the DVC Y.
