I'm sorry for everyone who's having a rough christmas.
There are way worse things going on in other people's lives than mine - but I'm having a difficult christmas too. Same b.s. - different year....
OP - your right - it just feels good to get it out.
Hugs to everyone
I don't know what psycho ever said that Christmas was the hap hap happiest time of the year, but frankly that person was on way way way too many drugs.
Christmas and all its negative energy will soon pass and we will settle into the long and seemingly endless winter.
We must look for the good in each and every day. Sometimes that means looking really really hard, but if you train yourself, it will become easier and easier. Count your blessings before you go to sleep. Give a stranger an honest compliment, you won't believe how good that makes you feel. Talk to the people you are in line with. Hug people, the human touch does so much to melt the blues.
Small update and some good news. Sister's MIL is getting out of the hospital today and that is a real blessing to the family.
Now she is going home (my sister & BIL's house) on hospice however she beat the blood infection enough to get out of the hospital (she got an infection in her "home line").
She is very weak. It is going to be tough. Not sure what is going to happen with the SIL situation.
