You all have seen me thru some of my darkest days even if you didn't know it. Losing my dad and finding out he passed away while I was at DL almost ruined it all for me. You all encouraged me, supported me, and listened to me.

We are going to DL Feb 16-20 and I couldn't be more excited!!! Finally!!!! My younger dd and I watch our tivo'd "Disneyland Resort: Behind The Scenes" (from the travel channel) every morning before school. My older dd and I are deciding on what souvenirs to get. My dh and I are planning where we want to eat. It's like it's my first trip or something...I'm just plain giddy!

Thank you...everyone. I'll probably still cry a little while I'm there, but now I think I'll be in a state of mind to actually enjoy it.

Just wanted you all to know!

Now just wait until Girls Only 2010...I'll be there to tear it up w/y'all!

I lost my dad in April and planning my trip in October was one of the reasons I didn't drown in my grief. It was hard going to the park without my dad, who LOVED DL and had been on almost every other trip with us. I totally fell apart after going through the turnstile and had my moment and cried. But after that I just remembered the good times and memories and had fun with my family.
