I just have one Disney DVC wish....

I AGREE!!!!!!!!

But I'm not holding my breath.

I only think this would happen if Disney's research showed that DVCers were spending less and less time in the Disney parks and using their vacation homes as a base for other Orlando attractions as well. When it hits the bottom line, then you'll see some great offers!

I agree, at least the AP with a rate as good as Florida residents get. You had a real good point RIKERSMOM.

I TOTALLY AGREE!!! We live across the country and I think our family visits WDW more often than many residents of Florida. It would be great to feel that the powers that be appreciated that!!!

Count me in, too! Yes, msdis, we've thought of that too!

I agree.....it would be nice to see a few perks that amount to real cash in the pocket. Many of the discounts through DVC aren't much different than the run of the mill AAA, AMex, Disney Club discounts. Remember, happy DVCers are the best (and cheapest) advertisement. HI HO HI HO it's off to promote DVC we go.:bounce:

We absolutely, positively agree with you!!!!!!!!!!! DVC members certainly deserve a decent discount on all passes, hoppers etc.

My husband and I agree!

My husband feels that we should definitely be given the Florida resident discount...as our money is paying property taxes in FL. I would be happy with any significant discount on passes that work for us....particularly AP's.

I think with the recent outpouring of negative feelings about the treatment of DVC members they could do a lot to improve general opinion by offering a guaranteed discount program (until 2042!). Plus I have seen quite a few posters who mention taking "non-parks" trips or going to Universal/IOA instead of Disney. If they want to keep us on property 24/7 and in the parks they need to offer us an incentive.

Does any of this feedback actually get to the people in charge? How many of you posters actually send your opinions to DVC Guest Relations. Hundreds of INDIVIDUAL e-mails may make someone take notice, especially if we organized a specific date and time for the sending. They would be overwhelmed and possibly sit-up and take notice on a long complained about idea.

Anyone game?

Chris

I agree! It would be wonderful to be rewarded for loyalty. Maybe that reward is supposed to be the AP rates, which we've certianly taken advantage of. But the change in AP renewal policy has been a negative.
Perhaps Disney knows that addicts are willing to pay any price:)
