for this Honors program and it felt like I was taking a test. All kinds of questions relating to how I think she will behave in a foreign country for 7 weeks.
Will she behave, how does she behave, will she be homesick, why does she want to do this, why do you want her to do this, etc, etc, And of course, they didn't ask the questions so simply. About 40 essay questions on whether or not my child will behave. ahhhhhh

Would a parent honestly send a child overseas without taking these things into consideration?

I think it was more like a statement of responsibility. I know how my child will act and I will stand behind it, kind of thing.

They did have a question on there that said that if she did misbehave and was sent home, at my expense, would I have a problem with that?

That's the Gotcha Clause. I bet you'd have more than one problem with that - wouldn't want to be the kid whose parents had to pay for my return because I misbehaved.
I don't think you have to worry. They probably want you to have a nice long chat with DD about such things.

I'm sure you're right. But I'm not worried, she behaves very well at other people's homes. The parents all want to trade me kids.

Which one, the trading kids? Nope, no way, I've spent 17 years training this one. lol
