I just had the best luck ever!!!

My dd and I are heading to WDW from Sept 4-7...a quickie trip to do Night of Joy and now MNSSHP!! Just like everyone else, I'm hoping to get free dining. Well, this morning, I asked my dh if he was sure he didn't want to go. Nope, he wasn't interested, doesn't like POP, go and have fun without him. Well....I got an email from him saying he wanted to go after all. Arrrghhhh. Understand...I have my ADRs at Crystal Palace, LeCellier and Chef Mickey's all set for my dd and I. So, I get on the phone with Disney Dining...before I booked his airfare or added him to our reservation at POP. I didn't hold out much hope for keeping my meals, so was busy thinking of alternatives. I mean, come on...everyone is calling to make those ADRs with the hope of free dining next week.
But, I had the best CM...she just said 'Ooooh!' when I explained my situation. then said 'Well, we'll see what happens. All we can do is try, right?' Well....I got all my ADRs back!! And the one at CP had to be moved from 5:45 to 5:10, which was actually better for us. The others stayed at the exact same time. I think the Disney gods are happy that dh actually wants to go back. I'm so thrilled I got my ADRs for 3 that I just had to share my excitement.

Congratulations! You must be so excited! The strange thing is, sometimes it is easier to get an ADR for a party of 3 than one for 2 people.

Congratualtions to you. But I would make my DH suffer and tell him he caused me all kind of heartache trying to rearrange meals, etc. Men...they will drive us women crazy!

WTG!!! We just booked a last minute trip last Friday for mid May and I had the CM book my ADR's before I made my payment (no ADR availablity= no dining plan!!). I got EVERYTHING I wanted including CP breakast, CM breakfast, a 6pm Le Cellier dinner I was so excited that this little guy can't quite explain it!!

The "word" is that "all the restaurants" are already booked up solid for the possible free dining period.. but as you can see, that's not the case.

There's tons of availability at the restaurants for September, right now. Maybe not Le Cellier, or CRT, but anywhere else you're in good shape to get what you want. Will probably be that way for a few weeks more.

Now, if you try to book a package with the free dining promotion sometime this June, I'm not sure what you'll get... probably the impromptu buffet at Tomorrowland Terrace Noodle Station?
