I just got the BEST rate from ALAMO

I just checked for our November trip and the price has gone down about 50 dollars from 2 weeks ago. And I was able to use a Wal Mart code and the 20 $ off e coupon.

We used Alamo last week - 7 days for a mid sized SUV for $126 taxes included. We picked up at Tampa and dropped off at MCO - was an amazing deal. We loved being able to pick out our own car too.... got a Toyota highlander and now dh is wanting to replace our MPV with one

The best price came for us around 2 to 3 weeks out - it really pays to keep checking b.c the best price I had found before that was $230 taxes in - I jumped on this price when it came out - I used the costco code and $25 off a weekly rental coupon.

I just read a new Alamo thread on the transportation board stating great alamo rates. We I tried the code and it dropped my rate of $120 to $93.38 all taxes in using Prepay. I didn't use my QS membership, Costco, or Walmart ID/Corporate codes because the prices were higher. I just punched in my dates and coupon #AD3829MRB and used prepay and WOW!! According to the OP on the thread it's also a ecoupon so you don't need to print it, and bring it with you. Give it a try!

I wanted to thank you for posting this topic. There are SO MANY rental car places, and I had no idea how to choose one (besides price). Learning that Thrifty req'd a shuttle to their lot was HUGE for us, as we are towing a 10, 5, and 3 yr old with car seats, strollers and luggage. Learning that Alamo was on-site was a step in the right direction......

and then! learning about the mousesaver codes - holy geez!! I ended up using a costco code and got a free additional driver. This is HUGE as it is $10/day for 8 days!!!!!!!!!! Then I used an entertainment book coupon for something or other and the total cost was $213 USD for a standard SUV for 8 days with a free additional driver. Beyond amazing deal, as it started at $330 plus tax from Budget.

I can't thank you ladies (and gents) enough.
