The concert was AWESOME!!!!

I went and picked my friends up and we all went to Mickey Mantels (A steak house) for a few drinks before the concert. When we were leaving, we saw that they had horse drawn carriages across the street. So we talked to the guy and he gave us a ride to the Ford Center. That was the first time I'd ever ridden one of those!!! IT WAS SO COOL! Anyways, so then we go into the concert. We go to the bar and grab a few drinks and then go find our seats. Seven Dust had just gotten on stage. Man! THEY ROCK!!! Then Creed came out... OMG!!! They played for 2 1/2 hours! They played the first hour from their old cd and the rest of the time was all their new stuff. I thought it was really sweet. Scott was talking about them making a tribute single CD and all the proceeds would go to the children that were effected from the New York disaster. They're going to make the single of their song "Children don't stop dancing." When he told the story about that, they sung the song, it couldn't have been more special! The light show they had during the song was so wonderful and the way the audience reacted and he interacted... It was just all around wonderful! After the concert, we went to an ale house in Bricktown called Tapwerks and had a few more drinks then stopped by Denny's and ate, then came home.

All and all... I had a PERFECT night! I don't have much of a voice left, but I'm sure my family and friends don't see that as such a bad thing. lol

FUN! I'm not a big Creed fan, but you sure are making me miss going to concerts!

But... question... I feel like I'm having deja vu. Did you go see Creed recently already, or did someone else post that? Or is it really deja vu?

You are so lucky!!! What I would not have done to go :( Glad you had an awesome time!!!

I made a thread when I first got my tickets asking if anyone had seen the show in their cities. This was my first time seeing them in concert.

Glad you had a great time. Things like that in our lifetime give us memories in our minds forever. :bounce: :bounce: :bounce:

I saw them in concert last month. They were awesome.

Ahhhh, Nikki, you weren't in Tapwerks about 11:15 last night, were you? :p While I was winding up my late night DIS'ing, my cell rang, with your number. Heard lots of fun in the background, said hello several times, even a 'hello, Nikki??', but no reply. I think you might have hit a speed dial on your cell, LOL. :teeth: Anyway, I was too tired to join in the fun, so I hung up, LOL.

Sounds like a great concert, Creed is a good band. I like a lot of their music.

Nikki, the concert sounded awesome!!! Creed rocks. I bet the energy there was amazing. Thanks for the update.

Dan that's too funny. :teeth:

The concert was just letting out about that time Dan. Sorry! My cell phone does that a lot. I can't seem to figure out how to lock the keys. :(

YAY NIKKI!!!!!!!!!! I had some friends that went to the concert last night and I thought that's the one you said you were attending as well!

I'm so glad you had an awesome time :D

There will be several versions of Don't Stop Dancing that will be released in the next few weeks. There should be the radio version, an acoustic version, and a Live version that was recorded in Hershey, PA (I was at the show!!!!!!!) All proceeds will go to the With Arms Wide Open Foundation and a 9/11 Children's Fund that Creed supports

Well, Nikki, it was nice talking to you earlier today. Thanks for the call, and you were on the other end this time. :teeth:

lol Dan, I can just see you yelling into the phone....HELLO HELLLLLLLLOOOOOOOOOO

Don't worry Dan, she calls me accidently all the time! Its cute at first, but her phone will call you at the most annoying times! ;) :D

Great concerts are such a rush. You'll remember the night for the rest of your life.

I hope so! It was such a perfect night! I'm just now starting to get my voice back! lol I'd snuck a camera into the concert and I got my pictures back yesterday. They turned out ok. (probably cause I know what was going on stage at that time) :)
