The concert was AWESOME!!!!
I went and picked my friends up and we all went to Mickey Mantels (A steak house) for a few drinks before the concert. When we were leaving, we saw that they had horse drawn carriages across the street. So we talked to the guy and he gave us a ride to the Ford Center. That was the first time I'd ever ridden one of those!!! IT WAS SO COOL! Anyways, so then we go into the concert. We go to the bar and grab a few drinks and then go find our seats. Seven Dust had just gotten on stage. Man! THEY ROCK!!! Then Creed came out... OMG!!! They played for 2 1/2 hours! They played the first hour from their old cd and the rest of the time was all their new stuff. I thought it was really sweet. Scott was talking about them making a tribute single CD and all the proceeds would go to the children that were effected from the New York disaster. They're going to make the single of their song "Children don't stop dancing." When he told the story about that, they sung the song, it couldn't have been more special! The light show they had during the song was so wonderful and the way the audience reacted and he interacted... It was just all around wonderful! After the concert, we went to an ale house in Bricktown called Tapwerks and had a few more drinks then stopped by Denny's and ate, then came home.
All and all... I had a PERFECT night! I don't have much of a voice left, but I'm sure my family and friends don't see that as such a bad thing. lol
