:wizard: Hi Everyone!
My family and just got back from an 8-day stay at disney world, but we feel that we need more disney. So, we're planning to return this Christmas season for about 5 days. We can't decide if we should go from Dec 23- Dec 28 OR Dec 28-Jan 2. What do you think?

:earseek: Also, I've found that if we go during the holiday season, I'm gonna end up paying almost $1000 more that I did the first time and for almost half the days! Because of this, and the terrible crowds, we're rethinking the trip. Is Spring Break a good time to go? Because I live in south Texas, our spring break is like a week after the rest of the world's.

:confused3 WHAT DO YOU THINK? ANYTHINK WILL HELP!

I would not go Christmas week. The following week would be fine. As far as spring break that is a matter of choice as weather will be warmer but the bugs will be very active.

Could you possibly come down earlier in Dec.? Perhaps the first or second week instead? Should be less crowded but you'll still be able to enjoy all the Christmas spirit and decorations.

Whenever you decide, we'll be delighted to see you again.

Best wishes.

I agree, I have read that the first couple weeks in Dec are like the least crowded of the year. I would do it the first week or two in Dec, and then enjoy Christmas at home. Just my 2 cents.

If Christmas/New Years and Spring Break are absolutely your only two choices, then I think I'd pick Spring Break. Both will be crowded, but Christmas will be much more crowded than Spring Break.

However, if there's any way to work it out to come another time (like early December or January after New Years), that would be light years better.

One more however - some people really like going Christmas week in spite of the crowds. If you have the mindset that you just really want to be there for the holidays and you're willing to work around the huge crowds, then maybe you should go for it. I would say do that *only* if you think the holidays at Disney World is worth any amount of hassle and crowds.
