I just got $164 AAA Rate at the Dolphin for April

Just thought I'd post here to say that the Dolphin and Swan have some great AAA Rates at the moment, they are for restricted view, but if you're on a tight budget and want a deluxe hotel it may appeal to you. We've stayed at the Dolphin many times and they often give upgrades at check-in, so we're hoping for that, if not, at least we will still have got a room at a fantastic rate!

My dates are 18-23 April, the week after Easter and the rate was $164 plus tax.

We stayed at the Swan for the 1st time this past May because Disney didn't have any discounts during our time frame...

We really enjoyed it and will be back when WDW doesn't discount again.

I have the Poly booked with the 4/3 deal and I am taking that and running with it!!!

Swan also has a AAA rate of $179.25 + tax for a 2 queen bed room for April 25-April 29th. This is almost a $200 PER NIGHT savings over BC/YC.

I booked a king room with AAA disc same dates for $206.25 + tax per night!

The only thing to be aware of with the Swan/Dolphin is the "Extra" fees, ie, resort fee, parking, etc. Make sure that you know they are there so that you budget for them and enjoy a room that is still much less $$ for a deluxe!

We just booked two rooms at the dolphin for one night after the cruise.

$328.50 for two rooms! ($389.58 withall taxes and fees)

Is the dolphin as nice as the swan?
We have 3 kids, three adults and it only asked for adults in the room....

Also do they have the magic express from here? Can I take it from another resort if they don't?

You cannot do ME from the Dolphin nor can you have the dining plan.

Not sure if you can catch it from BC/YC.

Yep, we know about the taxes thanks, we've stayed a few times before at the Dolphin, we don't have a car so no extra charge for parking, it's such a great price for our favourite hotel!

Well Done!
We've never stayed at The Swan, but I think they are both on the same level of niceness. We love the Dolphin as it's really handy for Picabu, the cafeteria on the lower level, I'm sure your kids would love it, it's brilliantly themed and they have a varied menu, my teens love it there! It's open 24 hours too if you fancy a snack when coming back after late magic hours at the parks! There is also the Fountain Ice Cream shop, they have so many flavours and different toppings it's really hard to choose!

I understand there is a parking fee when staying at Swan/Dolphin....$16 per day or something like that.

But does that allow you access into Disney theme parks parking lots without paying again? Like when I stay at CR I get a parking pass that I put in the window of my car and I don't have to pay to park when I go visit Animal Kingdom, etc. Will this be the case when staying at Swan/Dolphin or will I still need to pay the Disney parking?
