It is all right, ME has to be booked in advance and only runs from MCO, not Sanford. I haven't used ME, but know others who have and how it works. I have used all the others, and they are good.

I believe that when using the ME from the UK you still need to collect you own bags from reclaim (after going through the double bag drop routine). If using an affiliated US internal airline they automatically collect the bags for you (bags are identified by a special luggage tag).

It depends where you clear customs i.e. whether your first port of entry in the US is Orlando or not.

If you are flying through another US city you will clear immigration and customs at your first port of entry and you will then be able to check in for your domestic US flight and use ME when you arrive at Orlando.

This is absolutely right into MCO. You pick it up after immigration, take them through customs and then say goodbye to your bags until you reach your resort

my friends are staying with us in our DVC accommodation but will be coming after a week in Las Vegas. I don't think they particularly want to be separated from their bags but would like the coach. Can this still be done?

The Celebration ends at the end of September the last I heard, but I think complimentary ME is running until end of December? It may well continue after that time I suppose, but probably for a fee.

Susan - I would imagine this was possible, I would give MS a call and ask though. If your friends want to pick their bags up themselves at MCO I can't see any reason why they couldn't?
