Literally cried.
The author talks about "Why We Go" in Chapter 12. I could relate to every word he said. Talking about leaving WDW and planning to go back and why we all (who love it so) go back again and again. It felt good to read and relate to someone who shares my addiction.
Each Mousejunkie who contributes to the book gives their reasons for returning. I could closely relate to most of them. Esp. Mousejunkies Jenna, Walt, J, and Randy.
It is amazing the bond that Disney lovers have. I am glad to know people cry when they arrive and cry when they leave. I am glad others are thankful to Walt Disney for pursuing his dream. Sounds like there'll be a line in heaven to get in to thank him for our special place!
I think when the magic of Disney grabs a hold of you and you really experience it, it may have something with Walt Disney's presence that must stronger be there because of "unfinisihed business" when he died. It is like God allows him to enjoy us enjoying his dream.
And that makes me well-up and cry again.
Thanks Bill Burke and all the Mousejunkies for a wonderful, wonderful book. I borrowed mine from the library but I'm going to get my own copy. You all did an excellent job and stole my heart!
