We're going to WDW in 8 days. I don't know where we're staying. I don't know how were are getting to/from the airport either in Cleveland or Orlando. I don't think that I can get Disney Club AP vouchers for the rest of my family in time. But I don't care because
WE'RE GOING TO WALT DISNEY WORLD!!!

Hope to see some of the locals while we're there (6/29 to 7/4). I gotta hurry home in time for Patrick's picnic and the Buca di Beppo DISmeet. I'm so excited. Can you tell?

I am arriving on the 4th - are you staying for the fireworks display are leaving that morning

Our flight home is at 4PM on the fourth, so we won't be around for the fireworks. We have a two hour layover in Philadelphia that evening, so we'll be close to where it all began.

I got a great tshirt at the Disney Store on Saturday ($16) that says "July 4, 2002" that I'll be wearing at WDW on the morning of July 4th.

As an added bonus, I just found out that we are going to be staying at the Beach Club Villas on opening day! This is going to be a great vacation.

Itinerary so far:
Arrive in Orlando Saturday 6/29 sometime around 3PM.
Take arranged transport to the Dolphin.
(Thanks to the folks on the Budget/Resorts boards who pointed out the great rate that Expedia has for the Dolphin)
Checkin for two nights at the Dolphin.
On July 1st, checking for two nights at the brand new Beach Club Villas

From this point forward, things are a bit hazy. I'm hoping that one more night will open up at the BCV, but if we have to, we may have to head back to the Dolphin for our final night.

No planned DISmeets as of yet, although I do have lots of cell phone numbers programmed into my phone.

I'm off to Philly tomorrow at 6AM for a 3-day business trip. Then back home, pack, and head for WDW.

Thanks Ray. I will. You can count on it. I just got word from the Disney Vacation Club this morning that I can get a room at the Beach Club Villas on the night of July 3rd, so we won't have to switch resorts twice. The pixie dust that I asked for over on the DVC boards apparently worked.

Today must be the day for typos. Pumbaa has invented a new word, HIME.

Hime - A combination of the words "time" and "home". Instead of saying "When you are home and have the time", you can simply say "When you are hime".

I am supposed to be cutting the lawn right now, so I don't really have "hime" to be here on the DIS boards.

The things that are making me laugh today have got me a bit worried. Perhaps it's because I know that I'll be at WDW in less than 24 hours. That seems to have an effect on me.
