I just changed my reservation again!!!

We must of changed things 4 or 5 times already. But last week Disney changed our flight to a connecting ( we booked a nonstop). We planned to arrive to our airport at 5pm but with the new connecting flight we wouldn't arrive till 10:50pm. Too late with 3 tired kids ( not to mention 2 tired adults).
After thinking about it for a while we added a room only for another day and a early flight in the morning. It's a direct flight but if it does change to connecting at least we won't be coming home around midnight.

So we are staying at POR for 7 nights and then switching to ASM family suites for one night. Anything I should know about doing a switch like this.
We would have stayed in POR but there is no openings. Should I keep trying for an opening at POR. Do these resort changed run smoothly?

We've changed our dates and resorts so many times with our upcoming Fall trip....

I would DEFINITELY keep trying for that last night at POR. I think split stays are fine, but I would be hesitant to do it for only one night and with three young children. That will be a lot of work for you -- and we know much of the packing, etc. falls onto the Mom in the group.

Your family will LOVE POR!!

Definitely keep trying for POR. I had a similar sitch last year - we were planning on moving from CSR to AS Sports for our last night, but I kept calling every day and finally was able to stay at CSR.
