Hi

I know there is a thread for this but I'm after some personal opinions

We fly into CDG in September for our trip and can't decide what would be best for us I'm regards to getting to Disneyland, we are staying at SL

There is my wife and I and our son who will be 16 months or so.

What I'm not too keen on is any added stress ie not knowing if we will get on the next bus or train or not.

We arrive with air france at 12:00 midday and fly out on the Sunday at 13:10

I suppose our options are VEA, the train or pay more for a taxi

Thanks for any info

I definitely recommend Ezyshuttle - we used them last month and their service is faultless. Totally stress free.

We were picked up right after we collected our bags, inside the terminal, despite our flight being early. We arrived at DLP within about 40 minutes. On the way back the driver came into the hotel reception for us, and was 5 minutes early.

Can't recommend them enough, and I know that many disers have also had a good experience too :thumbsup2

with a small child i wud go for the easiest and less stressful option and agree with julie - ezyshuttle r very good and certainly worth the money for the convenience :goodvibes

Thanks guys I'll price it up now

Probably less stressful on the way back as well as it maybe easier to predict journey time to airport

I wasn't sure about times either, so I gave our flight time to John at Ezyshuttle and he advised of the pick up time :thumbsup2

we have also previously used ezy shuttle and it really was a great service. We were provided with a booster seat free of charge and we were happy to be able to book with them again for our trip in august. From CDG the cost is 70 euros each way, we just like the convenience as we want to get to our hotel SL and start our holdiays asap...enjoy ure trip

im having the same thoughts too, i think i am going to go for the vea/disney bus there and order a private shuttle back to the airport, does anyone think getting the bus there will add to the kids experience/excitement

Honestly, no I don't, unless your kids love buses?

It's a hit and a miss with the VEA. You may need to wait for this to turn up, or risk not getting on if it's full and having to wait for the next one. It then travels round various terminals at the airport before stopping at each hotel at DLP. If the price is a lot cheaper then it might be worth it, but if it's not much difference I'd suggest the private shuttle. You'll get to dlp much quicker :thumbsup2

Ive decided to bite the bullet and booked ezy shuttle

Did you book with them in the end? I still haven't decided but am thinking using ezy shuttle

Another question for people with little ones, do you tend to take your own pushchair or hire one? I think it's free to take a small one on air France

I have to say, I'm a big shuttle fan. Correct me if I'm wrong but I've heard a lot of stories about there being no guarantee of actually getting a seat on the bus and being late for flights etc. If you get the shuttle, you get picked up at the right time from the right place and dropped off right at the door of your hotel. The drivers are really good at keeping an eye on flight times so they know if there are any delays etc. And, its not that much more expensive than getting the bus

Ditto :goodvibes

I have used RS transport in the past and Paris-Blue-Shuttle the last two times and they both have been great.
More, in July when we had to wait about two hours for our luggage the driver waited patiently for us no problem :thumbsup2

If Can recall which was cheaper? There seems to be quite a few firms so it's a case of trying to balance price and service and ezy shuttle seems to come recommended

Paris Blue Shuttle came out to be the cheapest, it was about 74 euros for a return trip on a shared shuttle for the two of us.

Both times we shared with another family but as i said they waited for us when we had troubles with our luggage :goodvibes

I'm another one who always gets a private shuttle - anything for a stress-free life! :rotfl2:

You could always book a shared shuttle - I can't remember if it's RS or BS Transport who do this, also Paris Blue Shuttle (see post above). People have often reported booking a shared shuttle (so a cheaper price than a private one) then found out they are the only ones.

Hi everyone

I just booked a shared shuttle with RS for 88 euros and paid online

The only thing is I haven't received email confirmation yet, does it sometimes take a while?

They sound like a decent enough company from reports on here

I got an auto confirmation pretty quickly (within a few mins) and a (very) short personal confirmation within half an hour. You could always email them to check they got your email if you're worried, you might have made a typo in your email or something. :)

had you just done it ie at 9pm? It might be tomorrow morning, office hours, that you get a confirmation email reply :).

I booked at 9 on Saturday night and still nothing I emailed them today but no reply

I'm a little concered but not panicking just yet

I got an email from 'blue van Paris' today confirming the reservation with rstransports :)

I presume this is the same company
