I just called the DVC sales phone number

I have no desire to buy any more points I probably have too many. But I just called to see how long the phone wait will be. Absolutely no wait like I expected. But for members they want you to wait for over an hour if you can get through and don’t have a busy signal. Totally unacceptable. Move people around if no wait for the sales have some of them answer the phone call for members. Train them do something DVC.
 
I think what you're saying has some merit, but it's probably not going to be that easy. The folks on the DVC line are (mostly) experienced and prepared to answer a number of specific issues the sales people wouldn't think about. Then again, with some of the mixed responses people seem to be getting from the DVC line the past few months, maybe it wouldn't be noticed!
 
Unfortunately, it's probably a separation of accounting / financials. Those sales folks aren't employed by the DVC Member's MF dues probably. The sales folks are probably going out of another budget. If they move them over / trained them, our MF dues will need to go up because DVD development isn't going to pay for DVC member services, they will make us pay for it.

Sales are employed by DVD and not DVCM. Different division so not something that can happen.
 

There are thousands of members trying to reach member services due to the closure and reopening issues. I highly doubt there are very many people at all trying to buy direct right now.
 
I would not want to be the sales guy, these days :).

We are DVC owners, and DVC is DEAD MEAT. Please, do not buy :).
