I just called Disney!

Well, I called about an hour ago actually. At first I was told that we could not have an Escape Wedding on a Sat. I told the lady that I was speaking to that I had read in the wishbook that SBP was available Mon-Sat. She put me on hold for a minute and came back to tell me that I was right. She took my info and said someone would be calling me to let me know if there would be anything available. ugh! I'm kinda bummed because I thought I might find out right away. I'm so impatient, lol!!! How long does it normally take for someone to call you back?

Not sure how long it takes for them to call back but I am looking forward to hearing about what happens for you. We are hopping for May of next year and I can't wait to make that first phone call.

When I called it took them about a week but I'm sure that I have heard about an hour with some people, Mine is outside the 12 month window so I'm guessing thats why it took so long for me.

Hi Diane, glad you got through to them okay. It took them a couple of hours to call me back. I would wait another hour or so and then call them back, I am pretty impatient like you lol.

For my custom wedding, I called on a Monday and they returned the call before the end of the week. (i know that may seem like an eternity to some... )

I called as they opened one day, and got a call back early next day. It was for an Escape, at just under 9 months out if that makes any difference. Hope they call you soon

HAHA! Yeah...I only waited because they did mention that they may call tomorrow. You better believe I will be on the phone with them one way or another before tomorrow is over!

Fingers crossed for you again for today Diane. I think the only way they called me back so quickly was because I made such a point to the girl that I had taken the afternoon off work to do this and if they didn't call back it would have been a waste of my afternoon lol.

Okay, so last night I was laying in bed thinking how I really wanted to get married in the WP instead of SBP...I rolled over and asked DF what he thought. He mumbled something incoherent and quickly went back to sleep. I took that as an agreement. So this morning a phoned disney again and talked to the same lady I did yesterday. (I wish I got her name because she was soooo sweet!) She told me it was no problem to change it and then she connected me to my consultant, Brie!! WOOHOOO!!! Brie was amazing, she listened to all my concerns and put all my fears to rest, then she checked the computer to see if the WP was available...it was!!!!!

Joe and I are getting married December 17th at 12pm!!

Now, I'm off to make my hotel reservations...thanks to all of you who were rooting for us...you rock!

many congrats to you, Joe and your family! now you get to put it all together! and we all know how exciting/stressful/exhausting that can be!!! so you're getting married 12/17 and poohface is getting married on the 18th! great!! my DH ( by then) and I will be on our delayed Disneymoon AND the 19th is my birthday!!
