I Just Booked Our Cruise!!!

I'm very excited. I just booked the Disney Wonder for 2/13/05 as a "senior trip" for my son. We are taking him and his girlfriend on this cruise as an early graduation celebration. I have been thinking about it for a while now, and today I decided to go for it. I think we are going to have big fun. They will be able to do things on their own and also with us. She is a very nice girl and we have a good relationship with her. She has not traveled at all. I took her to Disney World in February and it was the first time she had been on a plane. We have cruised before, but this will be the first time for her. I think she is going to love it!

I booked the cruise thru Costco. They were very competitive.

Yes...Costco will not even discuss prices with you until you give them your membership number.

Yes, I am a member of Costco. I called yesterday and was told they could give me one quote (my membership had expired), but could not take a deposit until I had renewed with Costco.

I stopped last night and renewed my membership. Was planning to do it anyway, so it was no big deal.

I called today and put down the deposit. Costco requires final payment within 90 days of the cruise, but you can cancel up to 60 days from the cruise and receive a full refund.

The cruise is not a surprise. They know I've been thinking about it.

What is the cost of membership? And how much less was the cruise from other vendors like DU and mousears? We don't have a cosco near us so wondering if its worth it or not to get a membership.

Membership is $45.

Costco was about $150 less than others I checked. I felt comfortable booking with them and look forward to our cruise.
