I just booked my flights--no doubt fares will go down now!

For all of you waiting for better airfare deals to come along--good news! I just booked by flight for August, which means airfares will undoubtedly go down now.

I booked Southwest out of MSP for $94 down and $124 back. Seemed like a pretty good deal--especially with the baggage issue. But you have to know my luck--the fares will go down now--just watch.

As further evidence of my luck, look no further than this past weekend. I SELDOM bet on the Kentucky Derby. But this year, I was ready to bet on the winner (Super Saver) in honor of my wife--who really is a "super saver." I went to the place I normally bet and discovered they don't do it anymore. The other location was too far away. So...I never got to make the bet. Now you know why Super Saver won.

Don't ever take me to Vegas.

And for those wanting a good deal on Delta, those fares should also come down because I'm booking mine as soon as I figure out how to choose my seats. The darn window keeps closing on me and then I have to start all over. With all the attention that site is getting from me, I'm sure my fares will go up right before my eyes.

I lucked out with AT. I finally booked mine at $104.00 each way and the next day, they went down to $99.00 going down and $59.00 coming back.

Since I had just booked 24 hours before, they let me change to the new fares.

I am soooo excited. It is just something about once you get your airfare, the trip is really on!

Since you booked on Southwest, if fares go down - you can get a credit for future flights.

I booked my Dec. flights on AirTran in early May, and so far they have gone UP - which is fine with me!
