I just added REAS....now what do I do??

Okay, I bit the bullet and booked REAS through my TA. She called and added it to our cruise.

What do I do now? Should I call "Debbie"...what are the choices that I have to make before the call?

I just had our TA add it to our Sept cruise, too! She said someone from DCL would be contacting me directly... I will give them until 29 days out, then call them.

You need to decide when you want your massage, your Palo dinner, and your champagne breakfast. We are only taking a 3-day cruise, so I don't have too much to worry over! I already had it in my notes to get room service for the Castaway Cay day so we would be ready right away, so that will be our Champagne breakfast AM. (It definitely won't be breakfast in bed, tho' - we'll be using that verandah to watch the ship pull in!)

The weird thing to me (obsessive planner than I am) is why it took me until now to decide to do REAS! I already knew DH and I both wanted massages, and having them at the same time certainly gives us more time together to do other things. I also knew we wanted to try Palo, and we wanted room service breakfast one morning. I can't believe it took me until this weekend to put it all together and get to beat the ressie rush on top of it all!

We were told we would be contacted by DCL to book but when we hadn't heard from them at about a month out I called Debbie and made our ressies. I left her a message and she called me back the next morning. She was very nice and helpful. Have a great trip!

I forgot to add, you need to know what spa treatment you want. Debbie will tell you the descriptions. When you want the spa ressies and when you want the Palo ressies. I was able to get the Palo ressie I wanted but not the exact spa one I wanted. There was only 3 times left the day at sea and that was the day I wanted. Just booked the time that seemed best of what was available and I am actually happy with that time after all.

When are you going? We are going in October (3 night) and I called Debbie myself. She was great and requested our dining rotation and made our spa and Palo reservations. I would call now since our first choice of spa time was gone already and I called several weeks ago!

How early can you call her? our cruise is November 27 and I added the package early in the booking process.

Is it still $299? Did it go up to $339 yet?

They will not be changing the price until after 2004. They marketed the price of $299 through 2004 so they are stuck with it (per DCL). Sounds good to me! Saved me a couple
$$. The new price goes into effect for 2005 sailings.

When we added the REAS to our cruise our TA got all our info and set it up right away. I booked it 2 months ago, and we don't go until November....

I called debbie and made the reservations- I also was surprised that some of the appt for the spa were already taken.....I called just after we made final payment (60 days out from cruise...hope this helps.
