So...we went on our first Disney trip as a family (DH, DS and myself for 11 days, spent 6 of them with my parents as well). DS had never been, and DH and I had not been since 1990. (I know, I know, blasphemy, but that will all be changing). We bought APs and they are currently BURNING A HOLE IN MY POCKET. Good grief. I am actually trying to get sent on a business trip in April to Hollywood, FL so I can tack on a day or two at WDW. And I am working on a weekend getaway in November with a girlfriend (girls only weekend), and DH DS and I will be going back for another 9-11 days in January '04.

We've been bitten hard by the bug. And I blame all of you :teeth:

Thanks and have a great Saturday everyone!!!

Debbie, I totally understand that feeling. What do you say we try for a trip together in May or August as well ;) :p Oh and don't forget a December trip that you ought to join for :teeth:

Not helping am I? :)

Oh Elaine, the wheels are turning. If 3 of us split the cost on a room at the Swan, and I got the nurse's rate, that would only be about 46 a day.....:teeth:

Hmmmmmmm, a trip with Elaine and Bonnie?

At the Swan?

for cheap?

You two are NOT helping!!! :teeth:

As long as that $46 includes the cost for the extra adult that sounds great to me!!! Let's see, remember I was telling you Bonnie that I found air from Columbus via USAirways for $156 r/t?? Well I could get that for May... so if we did this for three nights I could do it all for under $300 (save food... I'll eat light).

Helping yet Debbie? :p

Ooo, can I come, too?!! I've always wanted to meet you all!! Not helping, Deb?;)

I'm sorry Elaine, what extra adult? I was going to pass you off as my 16 year old daughter.:teeth:

hmmmmm.....that would drop the rate to 37 a night. Sure, Jen, come along! Are we helping yet Deb?

Jen,

You absolutely can come along!!!!

Nope Bonnie and Elaine, not helping. Not helping one bit!!!!

Oh yea, :teeth: I know the feeling!! ;)

DH and I went for a few days in January before a few days at Sand Key......and I said to myself...........gotta save for DD's college (she's a junior in HS)........gotta save for a trip with the grandbabies in a couple of years......maybe can work out a few days for early December if there is a DisCon............and now, as you can see by the countdown below, I am headed back for 4 nights in June :earsgirl:

It's a sickness, but we must each take responsibility for our own actions and treatment, while supporting each other as best we can. You know???? hehehehehehe ;) :teeth:

HAve fun planning your next trip :teeth:

Jen, come join us!!! The more the merrier :teeth:

Oh and Bonnie, 15... that's what Snoopy said I looked :p

Ann's right... it is a sickness and my DH keeps rolling his eyes at me when I talk about it.

Thank you all for letting me tag along, hee hee!! We actually just got back a week and a half ago, but I'm going through serious withdrawal! I want to go back in Oct. with DH for our 10 year anniv. but its been a hard sell to DH, so I gotta take any opportunity I can!!;)

Having an AP - really does NOT HELP THE ADDICTION!!! I had one last year and went a total of three times (each was fairly long trips!). Considering I live on the most opposite end of the lower 48 states from Florida... this is not a small feat! :)

LOL! I feel your pain.
We thought if we get APs, go the last week in August this year and then earlier in August next year, it will save us money. Great plan, huh? Well now we have booked an 8 night trip over Christmas and my birthday(due to DH's guilt for forgetting my bday this year). These APs are costing us big time and we havent even bought them yet.

Run that one by the Resort Board, Bonnie and see if you can get it locked or moved over to the DB. ;)

Yes, those AP's do wonders for us Disney nuts, LOL. :teeth:

Dan, you are such a trouble maker :p

I'm short, I could pass for 16, right? ;)

LOL Dan. :teeth:

Still not helping. I wanna go nooooowwwwww (said in my best whiny voice)

Ya'll are mean, talking about going again in front of me like this. ;) :o ;)

If you stay at the All Stars for $69 a night that would only be $25 each which would let you have a character breakfast each day for the money you would save by staying there instead of the Swan..:p
