I hope this thread is okay...

Ok pretty you can't take Bob! That's what people call me on the other boards when they don't realize I'm a female.

I'm an Ohio University grad and a bobcat is the mascot. I was in my last year of college when I found the DIS and since school was my life at the time it seemed to fit. Now everyone just thinks I'm a dude!

hmm, I don't know where my name came from... :rotfl2:

MO2DK is fine (although I didn't catch it the first time someone shortened it, LOL) :lmao:

aww, so sorry BOBcat. I didn't even think about it, but BOB is just such a cool name! So how about you be Bob1 and I'll be Bob2? jk :)

I, too, like hearing about all the names and where they came from. Now every time I say "I am NOT a happy camper" I think about happycampers! And I figured BernardAndMissBianca were from Rescuers? They are 2 super cute little mice!

how about justbob??? My ex-boyfriend would not answer to Robert so he would say just Bob, not Robert, just Bob. So my dad would call him justbob. Fast forward 2 years, BFF starts dating Bob, not knowing I had dated him too. So my DH called him justbob to rile him! LOL

I think if I had known how much time I would come to spend on this board I would have chosen a different name. I registered LOOONG before I ever posted, and I thought it would just be a throwaway name.

This is me, too. I first created an account when we were planning our first cruise with KAMommy and crew. I didn't plan on ever posting, because I was afraid it was crazy people who would stalk others and show up at my house in a scary fashion. :rotfl2: Little did I know that I would actually have my "friends" here that I talk to every day!! My name was supposed to be for me AND DH b/c we are big Stitch fans (that's where the "our" came from). Then, DH had to get his own user name so he could do his own posting. One day, I was complaining to KAMommy about how long my user name was, when I had to type it on something. So, "SIOH" works out for me!!

Do you all ever have the problem where you are trying to tell non-Disney people about Disney, and you can't remember what the full-out name of something is? For example, my cousin is planning to take her sons in February. When she was asking about hotels (she wants a moderate), I was saying, "Oh, you should try POFQ." I know what it stands for--and in my mind, when I read it, I picture that hotel. But, then I realized that there was no way she'd figure out what I meant, and it took me a little while to think of the IRL name!! :rotfl2: I guess that's what the kids at my school go through when they text all the time!

Yep, or how about when your holding a conversation with someone and you refer to your child as "darling son" or "darling daughter"!

when DH calls WDW dine he says ADR's all the time and they are like HUH???

Ok. Mine is totally obvious, without need of explaination, I know. It can't even be shortened. But, Mickey is my favorite! And I always make up words for things (just like Buffy!). Ask my kids (or kidlets...:)).

I love the name. It always gives me a smile, because I think of that guy at the copy machine..."The Mickster, Mickorama, The Mickenator...":rotfl2:

That is pretty funny! I'll think of that now, too.

sparklerific (not only sparkly, but terrific too!)
my DD's nicknames: Mollaroni, Mollabeena, Doodlebugaroni (I could go on, (I actually did a LO devoted to her many nicknames and she was only 9 months old at the time! :))
splendifierous

I'm glad someone else is a "splendiferous" person!! I'm going to add sparklerific to my list--that's a great word!

One of my favorites came from KAMommy's DD. It's "fantacky". When something is so tacky that it's fantastic, it's FANTACKY!! :)

Now, I can't get the voice (Is it Rob Schneider?) out of my head.

"Mickareeno, Mickarooni, Making swappies." :lmao:

Your post makes me think of that zztop song Dude looks like a lady.

:thumbsup2 Funny thread! Every time I see a NED dis name I really take notice because those are my initials. I really envy whoever has my favorite one PrincessNED

I wish I would have thought of that. When I made my screen name I was trying to think of something DH and I could share. He wrote a trip report under the name. I am not sure which of us is a dreamer and which of us is the wisher. I do most of the posting and I am both so it works.

Dreamer & Wisher--is your ticker right? Only 1 day until back at Port Orleans?? If so, have FUN!!!
