Could be real, the airlines are getting very creative with these videos in an effort to get you to actually watch them.
This one is one of my faves right now (but I'm a big beach/surf lover...can you tell).

I flew Delta last fall and the safety videos had some funny stuff in them. I'm thinking yes. When the stories of SWA funny spiels started the Wall St Journal interviewed someone from the FAA. They basically said as long as what is needed to be conveyed is, they had no problem with extra comedy type stuff. They actually figured it got people to listen to the safety talk..
