Hi Everyone :wave2: I'm new to this board but I've enjoyed reading about your money saving ideas.

Whenever I'm at WDW I always find one or two items at the outlet store that are still for sale on property at full price. Well last week I hit the jackpot at the Character Premiere store at the Premium outlet! I found a Lilo t-shirt I wanted for $4.99 when it was on sale at MGM for $20!!! The same goes for a Mickey T that I saw in almost every store on property. I also saved a lot of money on baby gifts and stuffed animals. I got all my souveniers from there and I'm so proud of myself for saving so much money :) Just a heads up for anyone who likes disney merchandise but doesn't want to pay a fortune for it. You may have to sift through a lot of stuff but it's worth it!

In June my daughters found the best sales to be at the Premium Outlet instead of Belz. I think the Character Premiere has a good selection of newer items also. Sounds like you had a good time shopping!

Oh, wow, good for you! I didn't know there were two. I went to Belz and saved a ton on Villian t's and event he AK sweatshirt that was all over the place at AK for $49.99, mine was 12 (I think!). I'll have to try to find direction next time I go so I can check out Premier.

I am so glad we are renting a car next time (if the dh and the kids don't alk me into driving there). I can't wait to hit those outlets.

Patsal, the Premium Outlet is really close to DTD. We took a cab from the marketplace and it came out to $10 including tip.

We're going there before we ever even step foot in the parks. On our last trip my DD spent $16.99 on a Mickey Safari Hat in AK - saw it the next day at the outlets for $2.99 !! I like to buy post cards for souveniers and was paying 50 cents to $1 in the parks - got them at the outlet for 9 cents a piece!! Thank goodness we held off on the 4-park large size scrapbooks - they were $25 in the parks and $9.99 at the outlets!!

Yup - we'll be heading there FIRST thing! I just LOOOOOOVE bargains - LOL..:teeth:

Hello, I did not know about the outlets until I started reading the boards. I can't wait to hit them for baby items and christmas when we are there in October. Are both outlets close to each other? Does anyone know how far from BCV & SSR they are? Any help- I would greatly appreciate it.
Thanks!

Hi Kellydizfan. There are two outlets near SSR, the Orlando Premium Outlet and the Lake Buena Vista Outlet. The premium outlet was a 10 minute drive from downtown disney and I heard the LBV outlet is even closer. They are a few minutes away from each other. I haven't been to the Belz outlet in years but I'm sure someone can tell you how far away it is.

I found the best baby stuff on my last 2 visits. There were racks of dresses and rompers, and a good selection of onesies and sweatshirts. I got my nephew a sweatsuit, t-shirt, and baby micky doll and everything was under $10. There was also a great sale at the Carters outlet store. The prices were so good that I stocked up on baby gifts for the holidays. October is a great time for sales too :hyper:

The Belz outlet is Close, but not very close though its not like they are both on opposite sides of town. From Disney to get to Belz, follow the signs to I-4 take I-4 to Kirkman(I believe that is the road) it is the ssme road as Universal's main entrance, turn right, away from Universal though, take the road about a block or two to International Drive, and turn left. Then I-drive all the way down to the end and Belz is right there. If traffic is light it should be about 15 minutes

There are actually two Disney Outlet Stores in Belz one in both of the enclosed malls.

Could someone point me to a website for all these outlets? I would like directions to the prem. and other one, I think I can find Belz. We are staying the first night at Fairfield Inn Universal which is suppose to be 1.5 miles from Belz. Also what are the hours of these stores?

Is the LBV Factory Outlet Disney owned? I know the Belz & Premium Outlet stores are, they are staffed by Disney cm's, but is the LBV? I've never been in that one.

Janie91, the website for the LBV factory stores is www.lbvfs.com. The website for the premium outlets is www.premiumoutlets.com. They give maps, a listing of the stores, and coupons that you can print out.

Your link for the Lake Buena Vista Factory Store takes me to a private page.

...it says "Mail Enable"...I don't know what that means.

I don't think the LBV outlet is owned by disney. They had some of the same merchandise as the other outlets but they also had a lot of non-disney stuff. I wasn't that impressed with it although they did have tinkerbell princess dresses for todlers. It was kind of dark and messy. I definately wouldn't make a special trip to the LBV outlet just to go to the disney store.

Does anyone know if they sell pins at either of the Disney outlet stores? If so, is one a better place to find pins than the other?

Thanks!

I saw pins at the Premium Outlet in May but they were the same price as in the parks. They just had the cheaper pins, not the limited editions.

I am staying on property with no rental car.....which discount disney outlet should I try to go to? I figured that I could rent a car from DD if it's reasonably priced????
